Fantastic facilities and Kate is amazing
River View electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked It was a lively setting the owner was welcoming sent videos messaged etc before I arrived so I was able to find where I was going.
The shower was amazing and the toilet facilities were brilliant also loved the cat that spent time with me in the van!

Lovely spot if your near Telford.

Liked What a fabulous little site! Lovely lady running it, brilliant directions.
Everything was clean and very well maintained. I couldn't fault it.
The shower was hot, and amused me immensely, as it's a converted stable, and I love and miss being around horses. There's a resident cat called Stripes who is a gorgeous gent, greeting you and keeping you company well into the evening but that could have been down to the fire pit!
The site is surrounded by fields and the river, there is a train line somewhere, as I heard a couple of very distant trains roll by, couldn't see them though.
Good level hard standing, electric hook up ( thank the moose's, as I'm part lizard and am always cold, the electric blanket was on!)
Toilet is clean, bright and well stocked.
Nothing to fault!
Disliked Only booked 1 night!

From the manager: Thanks Simon for your review 😁 it's a shame you marked us down for the highlight of the site which is in fact the shower 🤣 and you didn't even try it. It's basic and lovely - the hottest shower you'll get at any campsite with unlimited hot water (none of this pressing your elbow on the button to trigger the hot water again after 30 seconds and no gathering your 50p's for the meter either) your other half can also be doing the washing up while you have a jiggle under the water to the dab radio that's always on 🥳🥳 plenty of space to swing a cat - but our cat doesn't like being swung about but he will settle in by the cat flap in the door to watch the outside world thro his little window while you wash your bits 😁
Not one tiny plastic cubicle in sight to squeeze in and drop your soap.
A full sized stable to shower in.
🥳🥳
