What customers say
This peaceful, rural site offers secluded pitches with spotless private bathrooms and a well-equipped communal kitchen. Pods are cosy and clean, with many guests praising the hot tub. Complimentary welcome treats and excellent communication from owners enhance the experience. While some mention the lack of WiFi and nearby pavements, most found the well-maintained facilities and beautiful setting ideal for a relaxing getaway, with many expressing a desire to return. One guest reported a hot tub fault, which the manager stated was due to misuse and was being addressed by an engineer.

Lovely quiet site with great communal kitchen and private hot tubs.
Orchard camping pod (hot tub)
Liked June 26- stayed in the Orchard Pod. The pod is spacious with ensuite bathroom and kitchen and facilities.
You can use communal area if you want to but this pod is large enough to not need to.
Pod Speakers are great - via phone blue tooth. TV fridge etc available. (no wifi - use your phone wifi for tv)
Stayed before in the shepards Hut again love it but it is alot smaller so family pod felt lovely for the two of us. But it is romantic and the fire in there is lovely on a winters eve. (march visit)
The 2 Other pods (Warren and Parr) are smaller but have thier own private bathrooms with lovely waterfall showers. Not in the pod but located at the communal area but for your own use only. ( previously stayed in Warren pod years ago when this place opened)
All 4 accommodation options are dog friendly. But you wouldn't know. The bedding and cleanliness is always great standard here.
All have a private secluded hot tub. You cannot see ur neighbours bathing at all.
Ive been here with my child my sister and my partner and everyone I bring always loved it. Mostly because of the rural experience and the hot tubs but also the price is extremely good compared to others!
If you want to get a bus to Shropshire ( so you don't have to drive) or welshpool they are every 2 hrs from the main road. And the main road took us 40 minutes to walk to the bus stop. (pleasant country walk) once on the bus it's 25 mins to Shropshire where we enjoyed this year's annual food and music festival. An Uber back to the site on the Saturday evening was only £20.(Near me in Manchester this would easy be £40!)
Powys Castle Gardens and Ironworks are great family trips in the car ❤️👍🏻🏰
All in all love the place and will be back ♥️
Disliked Constructive feedback rather than a dislike - The sign from the road is hard to see as the flowers are overgrowing although I've been before so wasn't an issue for me! - it may be worth cutting the flowers and making sign more visible. :)

Amazing relaxing glamping stay
Parrs camping pod (hot tub)
Liked We had an amazing stay at Welsh Border Glamping. The pod was cosy, clean and really well set up, and the hot tub made it feel extra special. The whole place had a peaceful, relaxing vibe and was perfect for switching off and enjoying the surroundings. Everything felt well looked after and comfortable, and we really appreciated how easy it was to settle in and enjoy ourselves. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing glamping bre
Disliked A couple of small things could be improved: there was no WiFi, and there were no sheets or pillows available for the sofa bed.

Parrs camping pod (hot tub)
Liked So quiet and peaceful! 🩷
The hottub was lovely, the pod was clean and comfortable, and warmer than expected! Snacks and tea, coffee and sugar and milk provided by the owners which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Our daughter was especially happy with the choccy buttons ☺️
The kitchen was well equipped and clean, we played some games that were left in the main room as well. The shower and toilet was well kept and clean.
We had a really lovely time and hope to book again soon, thanks so much for a lovely weekend!

Lovely getaway for couples wanting to chill in a hot tub.
Bryn Gwyn shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked Everything. Lovely little shepards hut. The owner had left the heater on aswel so it was lovely and warm when we arrived. Aswel as little treats for us. Plenty on room for us and a small dog. Well equipped kitchen area, own shower and toilet. The hot tub was just what we needed aswel. Even if it didn't stop raining the whole time we was there. We will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the outside.
Disliked Not parking next to pitch. But again that hasn't put us off re booking.
