What customers say
This is a quiet, well-maintained site with spacious pitches, located beside a canal. Visitors consistently praise the excellent food and friendly staff at the adjacent Wharf Tavern pub. Key facilities, including toilets and showers, are generally reported as clean, though some reviews mention they are basic or dated, and located across the road from the main touring field. Several guests noted a lack of Wi-Fi and poor mobile signal. The pub's dog policy and limited covered outdoor seating for dog owners were mentioned by a few visitors.

Very peaceful location
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Very quiet and peaceful site with an excellent pub on site. Pub served a good range of beers and excellent food.
Disliked Facilities on the campsite were a little basic - we didn’t get as far as checking out the shower block as we were only on the site for 14 hours.
WiFi in the pub was not working and there was zero mobile phone coverage

We loved it and would definitely return.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The location was lovely; with beautiful views across the fields and along the river. The clubhouse on Friday was great - very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
Be aware, in dry weather the journey to the showers is no problem but in wet weather the journey it is not fun (in the middle of the heatwave, I got caught out in a cloudburst and was soaked to the skin by the time I got back to our pitch).
Also the access lane is very narrow.
