What customers say
This is a clean, well-maintained, and peaceful campsite with spacious, level pitches, conveniently located by a canal offering lovely walks. The adjacent pub is highly praised for its excellent food and friendly staff. Guests appreciate the secure entry and overall tranquility. Some facilities, particularly the showers and toilets, are noted as dated and could benefit from modernisation, with showers requiring a short walk across the road. Dogs are not permitted inside the pub.

Good value for money. Beautiful location great pub and facilities
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Small quiet site near market Drayton. Lovely countryside. Excellent pub with gorgeous food and good customer service. Overlooking the canal watching the boats go by. Nice walks along the canal to market Drayton if you are feeling energetic. Toilet and washing up facilities near the pitches. Only 3 available but more in the pub . Shower block behind the pub over the road. Clean and functional but basic. Good pitch size
Disliked Didn't actually dislike anything however the actual site itself could do with it's own shower block without having to walk across the road and only 3 basic toilets which could get very busy in the holidays. Noise Saturday night from the private mooring on the canal near by until the early hrs however this did not stop us from enjoying our stay here.

Good location though not dog friendly
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Pleasant site with all the pitches hard standing, secure entry and location by the canal was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked Although the site is dog friendly and is managed through the adjacent pub, the Wharf Inn, the pub itself does not allow dogs inside, they are confined to the garden. This felt quite unwelcoming. Unlike many pubs there was not even an area where dogs could go.
The Wi-Fi in the pub was of such poor quality a connection was no possible. This combined with no phone signal was a difficult, even when trying to find lovely walks.
There are no local shops and no place to buy basics.
There is just one dedicated female shower and expanding camp site, you need to cross the road for the shower.
