Non-electric grass campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Stayed in the large field in our campervan with our 11 month old baby. Lots of space, relaxed atmosphere, great sunset, very friendly owners, great ice cream, walks from site through a corn field, clean toilet facilities.

Fabulous stay at a wonderful campsite, will def be back
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Six of us just spent a weekend at this lovely site (5 adults one child, 7 years old). We had a wonderful weekend
The Toilet and shower block were very well kept, and more than enough for the amount of people on site. Showers were warm and spacious and great to have an area to change / dry. Never had to wait or queue and they were of a high standard
The Washroom facilities were great. Really useful to have access to a fridge and freezer
Large level pitches were easy to pitch our large tent on and had plenty of room around it for seating / playing etc
The owners were very warm and welcoming and gave you plenty of time to pack up, no rushing you off site at all
There is a great seating area you can use to eat / drink at if you wish and a lovely area for children to play.
We were very lucky and had wonderful weather. Spent a lovely day in Llangollen, very pretty village.
If you have children I would recommend a day at BeWILDerwood, it is fantastic for families and you can spend the whole day there. Definitely recommend having brunch at the boathouse in Ellesmere, it was delicious with beautiful views.
The site wasn’t overcrowded at all and felt very safe. Great to have the car next to your tent, makes pitching and packing up so much easier. This was my first time camping without an electric hook up, which I was a little worried about, but I didn’t need to be. We had a fantastic stay and I would certainly come back again. My daughter absolutely loved it too, thank you
Disliked Nothing at all to dislike. A hairdryer in the shower block or plug to use you own would be a lovely addition (even a pay per use one) but this doesn’t take away from a fabulous site just me being high maintenance
The ability to hire fire pits would be nice too but you can bring your own bbq if off the floor. Neither of these are essentials at all and I would absolutely advise to book here, we had a wonderful stay

Liked Our second stay at Willenhall and just wonderful again! The facilities are excellent, making camping with children so easy - spacious and clean toilet and shower block with a large camp wash, but our favourite thing is the thoughtfulness that has been put into the play area to keep children entertained 😀. We really cannot fault Willenhall, it's fantastic!
