Liked Great communication by owner. Lovely quiet site, very clean amenities. You can walk into Ellesmere from campsite, just 10 minutes away. There is also a Tesco in town if you run out of supplies. Lovely walks along the canal too. We had a great break really friendly owners. Will definitely re visit in the future.

16-amp electric grass pitch
Liked Brand new pitch on field 3 furthest away from the entrance, right next to the loos, important to us. Lovely sized pitch. Great pizza on sat night.
Disliked The gravel was freshly laid so was very dusty. It meant leaving shoes off inside pur van but washed off really easily.

Nice as a stopover, especially friday or Saturday
16-amp electric grass pitch
Liked Friendly owners and a pitch with a good view. We were allowed to park our caravan front in first, so we got to wake with a view.
The added bonus of a visiting butcher selling their goods, although we didn't know they were coming, or we would have bought more rather than shop beforehand, same goes for the pizza people on Saturday evening.
Disliked Shower block was very dated, badly cracked floor tiles.
Only one sink in the pan wash area, although was kept clean.
A very dusty site, coming off the field where the horses play.
Pitches felt like they were crammed in, and a lot of campers, caravans and tents in what felt a large open space, but all pushed to the edges

4 days at Newnes Touring Caravan Park
16-amp electric grass pitch
Liked We spent 4 days at Newnes Touring Caravan Park and the sun shone every day, making our pitch perfect for sunset views. We had a partly serviced touring caravan pitch and made good use of the very clean, modern onsite facilities, including a really hot shower every day.
