What customers say
This remote, secure farm field campsite offers ample space, with some guests enjoying private fields and BBQ facilities. Essential amenities like clean toilets, sinks, water, fridge, and freezer are provided, though the site is described as basic and developing. Friendly and responsive communication with the owner is highlighted. Initial access issues and locked toilets have been addressed with improved communication protocols. Some noise from nearby roads was noted.

Perfect campsite for friends and family
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked We stayed for 2 nights as a group of 14, with 3 tents, and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
We had a large field all to ourselves, which gave us plenty of space to relax, play games, and enjoy the weekend. We were also able to have a BBQ, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
The site had everything we needed, including a clean toilet, sinks, an outdoor water tap, a fridge, freezer, and bin bags. These little touches made our stay much more comfortable and hassle-free.
Nicola was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout.
Communication was excellent, and whenever we needed to get in touch, she was easy to reach and quick to respond.
Overall, we had an amazing weekend and couldn't have asked for a better campsite.
We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

Nice open space…
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Nice open space
Disliked Access to grass field is a steep hardcore ramp,
No access to toilets on first night as they were locked, no signs or site information
Only found out the gate code as there was a workmen on site when we arrived
It is a extremely basic grass field
Maybe a little information email would help, gate code etc.

From the manager: Hi there, apologies that you couldn't get hold of me and that you didn't have access to the toilets. Following your feedback we have amended our system to ensure everyone receives a welcome email with all the details on so this should not happen again. Nicola

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Quiet, remote but secure open farm field site.
Access to perfectly clean and drained toilet & paper! Water available but little else. So the site description is perfectly honest and reflective of a site in its early development.
Owner attentive and easy to get on with, recommending a great nearby country pub (the green man) for drinks!
Disliked Being really pedantic, I'd of liked the pitch area to be a bit flatter and mowed!

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Good facilities (toilet, washing basins with washing up brushes/sponges/detergent); water on-tap outside the barn; beautiful sheep; nice field for pitching my tent; CCTV around the barn; no light pollution - I could see the stars; I had the whole site to myself which was incredibly lucky and lovely!
Disliked The ONLY downside was the constant noise from cars, most noticeable at night - most probably the M40 motorway.
