What customers say
Crofts Barn is a highly recommended, peaceful campsite with immaculate, modern facilities. Visitors praise the spacious, well-maintained pitches, stunning views, and the friendly, helpful owners. Its rural location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds, with excellent local walks available. While most feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a minor point raised by some guests is the fixed temperature of the showers. The site is noted for its quiet atmosphere and attentive hosts.

Liked Really clean toilets and shower and a nice view. We enjoyed seeing the horse and goats in the next field too. Welcoming host and a simple and easy check in and out process. Quiet campsite and a good location for a day out.

Liked Well located and beautiful scenery. 2 very new toilets/showers, and some very cute goats live on site.
Good security provided by an electric gate at the entrance.
Disliked We arrived at 8:30pm and were subject to a £10 late check-in fee. We completely understand this in scenarios when there is a person waiting on site and their wage needs paying; however, the check-in was remote and all we needed to do was text to say we had arrived, so I think this was quite unjustified. It is the first time we have encountered this and we stay on campsites most weekends, and comes on top of it being one of the most expensive sites we have stayed on.
One of the two toilets had no soap in it for the 3 night duration of our stay

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. While the check-in was remote, we pride ourselves on our customer service, and we do try to personally meet guests when possible to welcome them, point out facilities, and share local recommendations. The late check-in fee was applied as I needed to follow up at 8pm without prior confirmation of your late arrival — it’s discretionary and used when additional co-ordination is required after our last checkin at 19.00 hrs. As we live on site I was unable to finish work until my last guest had checked in. The toilet soap dispenser was found to be faulty but did contain soap — I would have rectified this immediately had I been informed. Also, as your stay was a buisness expense, price comparisons with leisure sites may not be directly relevant.

Liked We loved our stay at Crofts Barn! Such a scenic area with wonderful dog walks from the site. Easy to check in with great communication and clear instructions - we were met shortly after arriving by our host who was super helpful and informative. The facilities are immaculate and we loved meeting the cute goats and listening to the Tawny Owls at dusk. We will certainly be back for another visit and have already told our friends about this great little find!
Disliked Some neighbouring campers weren’t so warm and friendly as we said hello, but hey.

The View non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Fantastic quiet site with amazing views. Clean & tidy. Good facilities. Loved seeing the pygmy goats! Virtual reception easy to follow but Stephanie came to say hello. It is an adult only site which meant it was quieter and more relaxing.
Disliked WiFi could be stronger but that's it really.

Great campsite
The Dingles electric grass campervan pitch
Liked I stayed at Croft's Barn the night before Fairport Convention's Cropredy Music opened. It's a convenient location if you're attending, Cropredy is just a short drive, and you can stop at Banbury on the way if you want to get a good breakfast or stock up on provisions.
It was wonderful to wake up in the English countryside with horses, goats, and other animals as your neighbors. The campsite and facilities were quiet, clean, and up to date and the owners were very pleasant. I highly recommend this site. My only regret was having stayed for just the one night.
