What customers say
This campsite offers a lovely rural location by the river, with friendly staff and a popular pub serving excellent food and entertainment. Guests appreciate the good value and pitch sizes. Facilities, particularly the men's showers and toilets, are noted as needing updating, although improvements are underway and ladies' facilities have been refurbished. Some visitors experienced noise and found the site can get busy.

A lovely campsite and friendly staff.
Electric grass pitch
Liked A lovely location next to the river. The pitch was a decent size, not too close to other plots. We had a delicious meal at the pub: one of the best burgers we had ever had! The staff were lovely and very friendly.

Great site in need of some tlc
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Remote location in a lovely setting surrounded by fields and trees. The site is predominantly set up for tourers and caravans.
The site is operated by the pub and is great for 'refreshments ' and dining, booking essential. Unfortunately no breakfast service.
Disliked The dreaded shower block, like something out of a horror movie, but only the gents as the ladies has been fully refurbished and is pucker.
For the gents 2 showers, wcs and single basin. It would be generous to say 'warm showering is available'. Shame as if the gents were as good as the ladies I'd have scored a ten.

Warm welcoming friendly little site, great pub with brilliant food.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Everything! The owners were welcoming and friendly, the site is great and well kept.
The pub is very clean with great staff and the food was perfect, we had steak pie n chips and it was lovely, we saw fish n chips being taken to another table and the fish looked huge and cooked to perfection.
We will be back!
Disliked Nothing really. The camping showers and toilets could probably do with a refurb but they were always clean and working but that's more of an observation than a dislike.

Liked Great atmosphere on camp site and in pub. Friendly staff. Happened to have live music that night.
Disliked Shower block really needs updating. I had a cold shower as water supply is not isolated from others.

Great for the price. Nice staff
Electric grass pitch
Liked The pitch space was great, liked the fact the toilet and shower was close by and the park for the little one.
Disliked The wait for the food took just over an hour and you had to pre book for a table we wasn’t told this but it was pot luck when we walked in for a table the lady behind the bar said we was the very last people to order food . We did enjoyed it when it arrived. Maybe tell the guest if there’s a wait on the food.
