Great location but not a quiet retreat
Electric grass pitch
Liked The people running are super lovely and the bar food is pub grub but cooked well.
Great rural location close to the Trent river.
Adequate facilities
Disliked Our pitch was basically in front of pub and in the beer garden/play area. Couldn't move because it was fully booked.
Kids playing football bang outside our campervan (2' away) locals coming into our pitch without being invited. Had to run cable across the road risking damage to our cable.
The pub have bands on the Friday and Saturday nights which are super loud especially due to location of pitch, which we weren't aware of until we arrived. I have neurological condition and this caused me distress due the bands being so loud it hurt my head.
No hot water to wash your dishes.

A lovely campsite and friendly staff.
Electric grass pitch
Liked A lovely location next to the river. The pitch was a decent size, not too close to other plots. We had a delicious meal at the pub: one of the best burgers we had ever had! The staff were lovely and very friendly.
