What customers say
This is a large, well-maintained woodland campsite with exceptionally spacious pitches, ideal for families and groups seeking freedom and nature. Visitors praise the abundance of activities, friendly staff, and good value for money. However, several reviews highlight concerns regarding the cleanliness and upkeep of toilet and shower facilities, with some guests finding them dated and a long distance from pitches. Limited activities for very young children and occasional noise issues were also mentioned.

A really great site
Non-electric grass pitch (no pets)
Liked Loads of space - the site is HUGE - good clean facilities
Disliked We only stayed for one night and because you can only check in at 2pm paying full price for a wrist band (to do on-site activities) was a bit strong. BUT no we know this we can come earlier and park in the visitor car park earlier in the day.

Good activities for the children. The toilet facilities were good.
Electric optional grass pitch (no pets)
Liked Staff were friendly.
There are some activities for the children.
The electric points worked as they should.
Disliked The entrance closes at 8pm. We were going to go to a local pub for dinner, but didn't because of this.
The bar was very loud, especially with a speaker right next to us. The food was 'okay'.
Unfortunately our neighbours were very inconsiderate. They played music with swear words very loudly when there were children around (including their own children).
The pitches are not easy to find - red circles flat on the ground.
