Liked: Love this place. We tried the spa for the first time (have camped here many times before) and it was amazing! Will be a regular for our visits now. The Friday night hot stone steak was brilliant too. Facilities are always spotless and the team are all really welcoming. Thanks again and see you in 2025 camping season!

Liked: Where do I start! This place is fantastic, amazing, kind and helpful staff. The amenities are outstanding farm shop, cafe, private toilets, showers with plenty of hooks to hang your stuff and a tray to hold your wasg stuff while you shower, hair dryer, soap, sanitary bags to dispose of your sanitary towels, plenty of sinks and toilets in there too. Fire pit trolley parking, glancing pod customers have festival trolley parking, plenty of bin areas! Including grey waste, glass and Ash. Bbqs allowed, fire pits allowed. A dog field WHERE YOU CAN LET YOUR DOG OFF LEAD!! Spa!! Chill out area. Lovely levelish area for tents loads of hardstanding. Outdoor area to eat. Fruit, veg and flower stall on a Sunday!! Very easy to find and the people coming to the cafe or farm shop have their own parking and don't interfere with residents. They have a washing machine, dryer, sinks for pot washing and they supply washing up liquid! Also an iron and a microwave and freezers! And WiFi all over site It was so clean and tidy, we had rain but had our tent not been old we would have stayed dry. So quiet and so lovely to be there. Adults only (always a plus) We loved every minute of our stay and we are 10000000000% booking a week next year!! Thank you sooooo much!

Disliked: Didn't dislike anything but feel bigger bins may be better.

Local attractions

One of England’s smaller counties, Northamptonshire packs a lot in to a small area, and it’s particularly well supplied with historic dwellings. The richly decorated but roofless Kirby Hall, the half-finished Elizabethan manor surrounded by wildflower meadows at Lyvden New Bield and the sturdy grandeur of 900-year-old Rockingham Castle can all be explored within a 20-minute drive. If walks and wildlife are your thing, you’ll be similarly well sorted: make for Fermyn Wood Country Park (15 minutes) to see what the whole Rockingham Forest area must once have looked like, taking circular trails to spot badgers and fallow deer. A similar distance away, Bedford Purlieus National Nature Reserve buzzes with bird and insect life, among the remains of Roman and medieval quarries and smelting houses. A 20-minute drive away, the nature reserve at Rutland Water is paired with a massive outdoor leisure area for swimming, walking, sailing, fishing and windsurfing. If you’re more into petrol power, it’s 15 minutes to Rockingham Speedway for regular race meets, track experiences and vintage rallies. Heading further out (in every way), it's 50 minutes from the site to the National Space Centre in Leicester. While you're there, take in the King Richard III Visitor Centre and pay your respects to the last Plantagenet king, who now rests in the cathedral, and make time for a mooch round the 700-year-old market.

Admission

Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m..
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Hired accommodation

Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.
Hired accommodation: £50.00 damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 1 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
