My new fave place and I can not wait to go back!
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked This place is an absolute find and by far the best place I have stayed. So if you don’t mind not having a shower or running water i would 💯 give this place a try. We did 2 nights here and I could have easily stayed longer. Really nice place to reset and luckily for me my phone signal was rubbish which was so nice.
Pitches are nicely spaced out and there is no overcrowding. It’s really well looked after and maintained and the staff are all super lovely as are their kids, Ada in particular was a great little host she walked us round everywhere and was super polite. It was just me my little girl and our dog and I barely seen my little girl because she was off with other kids getting full of mud and living her best life. Can not recommend it enough.
Disliked There was nothing I didn’t like even when it poured down everything about this place is just relaxing and so nice to be in nature.

Excellent environment for children to play and explore.
Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (six person)
Liked The woodland setting had a very family friendly vibe and we enjoyed the freedom to pitch multiple tents for the kids.
There was a handy essentials hut to make purchases and the portaloos always smelled fresh and clean - for a portaloo.
The owners camped on site and were very nice and chatty.
Disliked Sadly the site didn’t provide the isolation and privacy I expected from the blurb.
I could clearly see and hear the other pitches, one van playing loud music in the small hours, and people were constantly walking right by our pitch from both sides - I dare say we unintentionally intruded on other pitches too.
I guess my idea of going off grid and completely switching off includes from people too.
Had to buy a lot of water too.

An absolute gem of a find! I’m torn between telling everyone I know about it and keeping it a secret just for me!

Liked Absolutely blissful weekend spent at everwild. This place is a little secret sanctuary which is not to be missed! Our first time ‘wild camping’ and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Beautiful weeping willows, secret islands and tucked away plots, really unique in character. We were in awe of how much wildlife we saw and heard! There are some amazing sunsets to gaze at over the fields and plenty of fruit for keen foragers and campfire cooks. It truly is beautiful with plenty to do. Our children loved exploring and lazing in the numerous hammocks. The honestly hut was well stocked and the portaloos imaculate.
The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A really chilled out and peaceful vibe. We shall certainly be returning next year and keeping our eye out for up and coming events.
What a place!!!
Thanks xxx

Wonderful place, wonderful time, wonderful experience.

Liked I don't really know where to start with how amazing this site is! Beautiful scenery moulded by really friendly people. I'd say created but it's so fabulously natural that moulded feels like a better word! From the minute we arrived, I was super impressed with how welcomed I felt. Obviously - and the clue is in the name - it's civilised wild camping so no EHU or running water but being in a van that really didn't matter. I went fully prepared and it was brilliant! The pitch was almost perfectly flat and pitch 14 runs between two ponds so it's pretty private too! The cleanest Portaloos I've EVER seen!
Gorgeous wildlife - I've never seen so many dragonflies in my whole life. Plenty of space and SO quiet and dark at night, I had the best sleep I've had in ages. I'm really looking forward to a return visit to see if anything's changed as it evolves.
If you have kids then it's an absolute MUST! So much useable, accessible nature and a hands on ethos makes for a dream experience!
As I said to many people I want to gatekeep this little gem so they'll always have a pitch for me but it's not my nature ;) really tho - run, don't walk to Everwild camping - you will not be disappointed!
Disliked Bit of a jokey dislike honestly - I dislike that my kids were grown up before this place existed - they'd have had the time of their lives here!!! I also dislike that I can't just move into a quiet corner and live here full time, haha.

From the manager: Thank you Kay, this is lovely feedback.
We keep our place small and magical so it feels special and we are glad you picked up on it. Don't worry about gate keeping, it's the highest compliment.
We will be coming back next year with more secret areas and with some improvements to facilities, so watch this space!.
