Liked Lovely small site, nice sized pitch

Disliked Dirty/black mop in bathroom. No lights in toilets during day, only a small window to allow light in, not ideal if wanting to shave.

Liked Beautiful site that is just so perfect, loved there friendly approach that Paul,Fiona and there tamily of chickens have to offer.

Liked Spent 4 nights at this delightful site, The owners Paul and Fiona were so helpful and really nice. Facilities were spotless as was the site. Great fishing lake too. 2 mins walk to the local pub selling great food and great selection of beers

Liked It was peaceful site with a friendly team. There were enough facilities for the size that were cleaned and checked daily. A good pub next door with a good menu. Lots of people fishing. Really good value for money with no hidden extras.
The location was excellent, so much to see and do within 10 miles. We loved Woodhall Spa.

Disliked We felt the facilities were in need of a thorough clean.
We liked that the pitches aren't in rows but this did mean some were a bit close.
Due to Anglian water having the road closed we had to do quite lengthy diversions. Anyone going in the next few weeks be aware.

We were however a little surprised by your comments regarding the cleanliness of the facilities, as you also mention in your review that they were cleaned and checked daily. Our facilities are cleaned and checked regularly although we’re sorry if you felt they required a more thorough clean during your stay.

We would also like to clarify the comment regarding the road closure and diversion. The road works did not cause you to be diverted. As we understand it you missed the turning for the campsite and subsequently had to turn the caravan around at the road works. We appreciate that manoeuvring a caravan can be difficult, but unfortunately this was not due the road further up being tarmacked.

Thank you again for your feedback. We’re glad that overall you enjoyed your stay and found the site to be good value and well located.
