Camping pod (adults only, no pets)

Liked: Loved the little touches in the glamping pod such as tea and coffee, cups, glasses a full sized fridge, kettle and a toaster. It was perfect with a little veranda on the front to sit with table and chairs provided. You do not need to pay for electricity separately in the pods. A quilt and pillows were provided just need your own covers or for £10 extra they are provided. The pod was warm inside at night and very quiet as it is double glazed. The site had lovely hot showers for 50p for 5mins which is long enough. There is a little cafe on site which did sausage and bacon cobs, toasties and paninis for around £2.50 to £4. There is also a small games room with a pool table in and a laundrette with a book swap area. The owners are lovely, friendly and approachable. We had a lovely weekend here and will definitely return.

2 bedroom static caravan (no pets)

Liked: Price was good, staff super helpful

Disliked: Site is slowly being updated by the new owners, so the static van was a bit dated, but this was reflected in the price. Was also good as we had our granddaughter who’s 4, and we weren’t too worried about her damaging things. So not really a dislike at all. The owner may be replacing the caravan next year, so we were told.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Friendly owners that do anything to help others. Love how close it is to the beach. Nice little tea room the scone with clotted cream & jam is a must! Toilets / showers were very clean/spotless

Disliked: The weather haha(not anyone's fault) The games room needs an update & a good clean, also recommend maybe taking a deposit for use of the darts and other things as they were ruined and unable to play with due to no flights when we went. (Rated cleanliness & activities as 4 star due to the games room)

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Friendly site in a great location to visit the coastal towns, good value for money.

Disliked: Arrived on a very wet evening and the pitch became waterlogged overnight, we changed pitch the following morning and it was fine. The toilets are quite a walk away but it did say so on the site description, perhaps a portaloo or two would be good for when the weather is poor.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Facilities were great everything you need, electric was included. Owners and staff are super friendly and helpful specially on arrival our first time out in our tourer it was chucking it down with rain when we arrived and we had booked a grass pitch as I said our first time out and reversing with our caravan they help us reverse on to a hard standing pitch with clear instructions and tips allowed us to stay on it until daylight and then helped us move to the grass pitch in the morning! Would definitely visit again! Play park and games room for the kids on site minutes from a beach can’t say enough or get our appreciation into words.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked: A lovely, friendly site with great hosts. They made me feel so welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend. I pitched up in the middle of April and the site was very quiet. It wasn't "season ready", like I'm sure it will be in a couple of weeks, but was still a great stay. I have no complaints. Take 50ps for the hot water!

Disliked: NOT a complaint, but a warning... it is a walk to the loo, so dont wait until your desperate!

Local attractions

This is a smashing spot for family and beach hols, with both Sutton on Sea and Huttoft beaches close by for colourful beach huts at the first and a peaceful relaxing vibe at the second. Skegness is an easy drive along the coast, and Mablethorpe and Ingoldmells are also easily accessible to the north and south. Among the many other activities near the farm are the ambles and pedals of the Lincolnshire Wolds or taking day trips to Lincolnshire's small market towns like Alford, where there's also a war museum and a theatre. Bargain hunters should also get along to one of Lincolnshire's many car boot sales, at Ingoldmells, Skegness and Mablethorpe on the coast and inland at Louth, Horncastle, Gainsborough and Hornbeach.
