What customers say
This is a well-maintained, quiet, and peaceful small campsite, praised for its immaculately clean facilities, level pitches, and friendly, welcoming owners. The convenient location just off the A17 is ideal for stopovers or exploring the area. An on-site aviation museum and dog-walking areas are appreciated additions. While some mention road noise and the absence of showers, most reviewers found the site excellent value and highly recommend it, with many planning return visits.

Liked Brilliant gem of a site. We will definitely be stopping again. The site is lovely and quiet, the owners very nice and friendly. The facilities are basic but very clean. We also visited the museum that made a nice change. There is also a good dog walk around the site.
Pitches are easy to access and park.
The area is picturesque with a lot of good pubs in the area
Disliked No showers, but that is well described on the website and at the price that is being charged I can’t complain and we just used our shower in the caravan.

Fantastic small quiet site.

Liked Beautifully kept, quiet site that's close to the A17 giving easy access for shopping, touring etc. Cranwell training college is close so there's always some sort of sky activity, but not intrusive. Cranwell heritage museum is on site too, well worth visiting. Also worth a visit is the Green Shed where you'll find a good selection of books, jigsaws & gifts to raise funds for Notts Aur Ambulance
Paula & Mark are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble & always make you feel very welcome. This site is a credit to them.
Disliked There is nothing to dislike about this site.
