Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Loved the whole experience from arriving to coming home. We were first time caravaners and we were made to feel very welcome and other campers offered help if we needed it. The lady in the office was so lovely to us when chatting to her. We will 100% be back again soon. The Holloway’s and Dennis the menace. Who was also made to feel 100% welcome as an 18 week old puppy who had never been on holiday before.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked We chose this site for the fishing, although my husband and son said they caught enough fish, but found most of the fish where disfigured due to over fishing, they stopped after one day because of this, very upsetting. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant was great, we ended up having evening meals every time there, not cheap but excellent meals
Disliked As said about fishing very upsetting, the campsite isn't set up for motorhomes, they don't have a motorhome service area for filling up with water, getting rid of grey waste, during the day people fishing at the lakes (not camping) used the toilet and shower facilities making them very dirty with grass and mud all over the floors and most toilets without toilet paper. And electric is paid at the office for the meter, but the office closed at 5 pm so if you run out during evening you have to wait for morning opening, they would be better paying and using an app. We also tried to pay on an app for wi-fi which was useless unable to connect

Electric optional grass and earth pitch
Liked Such a lovely place to stay. Staff were amazing. There’s a beautiful Italian restaurant onsite (pre book).
Pitches are level and clean and there’s plenty of room. Toilets and shower blocks are really clean. The fishing lakes are stunning, we didn’t fish but we have done in the past and I was told they have recently been stocked. We witnessed a few catches.
Location is great, bus stop just across the street.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Such a lovely, quiet and clean site. The toilet & shower blocks were clean and warm. The pitches are near the fishing lakes which is so handy when your husband fishes, we could just walk around to his peg easily. We received a lovely warm welcome from reception staff too.
We will definitely be back xx
