  • Peaceful well-maintained site 10 minutes’ drive from Skegness beach
  • Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape 15 minutes’ drive
  • Dog-friendly pitches 10 minutes’ walk from pubs, a shop and station
Can’t choose between a stay in the Lincolnshire countryside or taking time out by the sea? No need to make any difficult decisions if you book in at Grange Farm Campsite. This peaceful, family-friendly site is set on a neatly landscaped plot 10 minutes’ drive from the beach at Skegness, and just 15 minutes from the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape. To pinpoint it exactly, the site is on the outskirts of Wainfleet All Saints, a historic market town that was once a busy port on Steeping River; today it has a healthy quota of pubs, cafés and takeaways as well as a convenience store all within 10 minutes’ walk of your pitch. Other local amenities include the railway station – handy if you prefer to travel on public transport – a bike-hire shop and a brewery open for tours and tastings. On site, the facilities extend to two well-equipped toilet and shower units plus a washing-up and food-prep area. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on leads when at your pitch as there are cows in nearby fields. Whether you're bringing a dog or not, there’s a selection of decent walks in the locality, either along quiet lanes or the banks of the Steeping.

What customers say

This is a clean, quiet, and well-maintained campsite offering spacious pitches and friendly staff. It's praised for its excellent location, providing easy access to the village amenities, public transport, and Skegness. Facilities, including the toilet and shower blocks, are consistently described as spotless and modern. While some mention potential queues for showers during busy periods and a lack of on-site entertainment, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Liked Quiet, friendly, inexpensive. The location and set up gave us exactly what we needed on the nights over new year. Would stay again. Be local pubs all very friendly too. It was actually a bit of a surprise just how friendly people were in this part of the country. :)

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Large well laid out site close to friendly village with small supermarket and station. Bus stop right outside site with regular service.
Good size pitches and clean modern toilets/showers.
Lots of walks from site including along the river bank.

Disliked Only problem was site power kept tripping off in the far field which gave us a very cold first night.
Moved to second field at site's suggestion and rest of stay was good.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Facilities & closeness to Wainfleet St Mary village, where there is a Coop, 2 pubs & Batemans Brewery. Train & bus services too. Think it would be useful to have more shower & toilet facilities on site when the camping fields are busy. Chris and his wife are brilliant hosts and were there to answer any questions.

From the manager: Hello Anonymous couple.
Thanks for your review. We do have 2 shower blocks in full operation at all times and a New one ordered and being fitted in February 26.
This hopefully will be sufficient for our guest to keep clean.
Chris and Lou are always on hand to help with any issues or queries.
Do call again !

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Good basic facilities, reflected in the price, walking distance to town for co-op, pubs, take out restaurants. Pubs not the best but friendly enough. Take away (Chinese was okay but kebab and pizza wasn’t brilliant) was edible after a couple of pints. Walking distance to train station, only £5 return to Skegness, we went into Skegness and won’t be returning. Probably okay if you have kids and it’s warm weather. Friendly welcome by staff. We did get woken by workers picking veg in the nearby field shouting early in the morning but nothing the site could control.

Disliked No good walks from the site. My husband tried to walk our dog both mornings and just kept coming to dead ends and most of the roads have no paths.

Local attractions

The Lincolnshire coastline has much to offer, from the pleasure rides and sandy beach at Skegness (10 minutes’ drive) to the rescued seals at the Natureland Seal Sanctuary (15 minutes) or bracing strolls through the dunes at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve (20 minutes). If that’s not enough to keep the kids happy, then they probably need a day on the rollercoasters at beachside Fantasy Island amusement park (25 minutes). Other family-friendly attractions include Lincolnshire Wildlife Park (15 minutes), where you can feed the cheerily coloured parrots and get up close to big cats. The speed freaks in your party might prefer watching stock car and banger racing at Skegness Raceway (20 minutes). There are numerous walking options in the gorgeous and undulating Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape (15 minutes), taking in gentle strolls around pretty market towns packed with antique shops like Louth (40 minutes) and Market Rasen (55 minutes), or following more strenuous routes along the long-distance Lindsey Trail or Viking Way. The region also offers more than 520 miles of cycling tracks – more than enough for even the keenest of bikers.
