What customers say
This campsite offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with spacious, level pitches. Many visitors highlight the on-site fishing lake and the welcoming pub with occasional live entertainment as major draws. While generally clean, some guests noted the toilet and shower facilities are dated and could benefit from updating. The site's peaceful rural location is appreciated, though proximity to a railway line is mentioned. Overall, it's considered good value and a popular spot for repeat visits.

Disliked Tried to check out at 8.45am but no one available so unable to get a refund for the electricity card and electric credit.
No explanation if the site, had to ask other campers where the toilets, bins were.
Was allocated a pitch but when we pulled up the people of the pitch next door had parked over it so we had to pick a different one.
Lots of dogs barking through the night.
No wifi on the pitch

Liked It's fairly local to where I live. I wanted to stay local due to it being the 1st time out in my caravan. This place was great. Showers and loos are relatively clean. Folks keeping their dogs under control with only one family lab not on a lead but it didn't come close to mine so no issue. Friendly boozer. Outdoor seating could do with a little uplift but that's all. Lovely spaced pitches. Electric by top up card via the pub.
Disliked Maybe get some rubble in the holes when entering the park. Also the signage not clear as we thought the park was where the sign was and it was next door. Rang the number and she asked me the park name and told me it was next door. It was then we saw the tiny sign on the pub wall.
