Drive-through lakeside pitches
The Duck Inn bar

  • Peaceful adults-only touring site in Lincolnshire countryside
  • Lincoln 25 minutes’ drive and the North Sea Observatory about an hour
  • Wildlife haven with fishing exclusively for guests
Looking for a rural break under Lincolnshire’s big skies? Book in at adults-only Glentham Grange, surrounded by farmland 15 minutes’ drive from Market Rasen. This peaceful family-run touring park sits on 12 acres and offers hardstanding pitches, each with water, electricity and lake or pond views; it also has easy access to trails in the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds, and a well-stocked lake with exclusive fishing for guests (there’s a per diem charge). Practical facilities include immaculate toilets and showers (they’re monitored every couple of hours) with free hot water and underfloor heating. The launderette and the washing-up area are top-notch too. You won’t have to travel far to find a decent pint, as the site has its own pub. The Duck Inn is open on weekends, mainly during busy periods, and is dog friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. There’s also an on-site shop for buying essentials or handmade souvenirs of your stay. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed per pitch, but as the park is something of a wildlife haven – with swans and Muscovy ducks on the pond, and hares, partridges and barn owls all being frequent visitors – you'll need to keep them on a lead at all times while on site.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked So clean, everywhere was spotless, everywhere. Lovely and quiet. Met the ducks! Lovely luxurious shower. The sun even came out for us. Easy to find. Only met the owner when went to pay for our electricit, she seemed lovely and was very proud of the site and how quiet s d peaceful it was. There is a pub on site but we didn't use it.

Disliked Nothing really except all the rules and signs everywhere but thats why its such a lovely site!

Drive-through electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked The nicest site we’ve ever stayed at. Everything is absolutely spotless and the facilities are fantastic. The pub has been done out beautifully — cosy, welcoming, and a perfect place to relax after a peaceful day on site.Deb and Dave are incredibly friendly and genuinely can’t do enough for you. The whole place feels calm, beautiful, and really well cared for.The pitches are excellent with loads of space, and the fishing lake is a lovely bonus. You do need a car as there’s no public transport nearby, but the site itself is perfect for a quiet getaway.I also loved that we received an email before arrival with our pitch number and entrance code — checking in was simple and stress‑free.Would highly recommend.

Lee B. 1 review

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Dave & Debs have set this site out so well, generous level touring pitches on gravel hardstandings with grass areas adjacent each pitch, all with wonderful views of the fishing lakes and the surrounding countryside, they keep everywhere totally immaculate, absolutely outstanding facilities. The showers and WCs are stunning.
Fab little bar on site, dog friendly and the hosts are brilliant at welcoming everyone. (Pool table, dart board, karaoke, board games, comfy sofas.)

Lovely little villages and market towns very close by, with great pubs and cafes/restaurants plus local milk parlours with fresh milk vending machines. (The Milk shakes are delicious)
Lincoln not far away if you fancy a day in the town, the cathedral, castle, steep hill (it is very steep) and loads of independent shops.
Overall a fantastic location, very rural and peaceful, ducks around the fishing lakes, a beautiful lakeside pavillion with a stunning view of the sunrise, barn owls, lots of birds, lots of rabbits, squirrels, Deb's adopted cats, even spotted a few dear in the adjacent fields.
Definitely one of the best sites I've visited in the UK.

Drive-through electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Loved the toilets and showers. Both were modern, very clean, lots of space in the showers and plenty of hooks to hang belongings on. There was also a bench. The toilets had lovely mirrors, wash bowls and beautiful granite tops and probably some of the best facilities we have used on a campsite. We also liked the drive through pitches which were well thought out and large. In a nice quiet location with lovely far reaching views.

Local attractions

There’s lots of military history in Lincolnshire; pay your respects to the dead of World War II at the International Bomber Command Centre (half an hour’s drive), and the UK's Polish allies at the Polish Bomber Squadrons Centre – RAF Ingham (15 minutes). Cultural warriors can head for historic Lincoln (25 minutes) to admire ornate stained-glass windows in its soaring cathedral and the Magna Carta copy in the castle; it also has a good sprinkling of upscale indie shops. If you’re big into antiques, the market town of Louth (35 minutes) has numerous shops to browse, and sprawling Hemswell Antique Centres (10 minutes) may take you an entire weekend to get around. Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough (25 minutes) also has a great choice of shopping set in a former iron works. The Lincolnshire coast (50 minutes) offers up vast dog-friendly beaches, birdwatching at RSPB Tetney Marshes and a grey seal colony at Donna Nook (both 55 minutes). There are spectacular views and seafront hikes from the North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point (around an hour); if you’d rather stay closer to home base, you can be on the wolds within 15 minutes by car.
