What customers say

This is a small, clean, adult-only site with a peaceful atmosphere and an excellent location, just a short walk from a dog-friendly beach and local amenities. Pitches are generally spacious and level. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly and helpful, with particular mention of Alice. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are frequently described as immaculately clean. Some guests noted road noise and occasional issues with water pressure in the showers, or limited facilities in the toilet block. Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Great location, great size pitches, very clean, nice walk through the static area of the site to the beach, which is amazing. Bonus being adult only, Alice the warden was lovely and very helpful. Lovely pub just before you get to the beach, handy to quench your thirst after a day on the beach or long walk.

Disliked The adjacent road on occasion can be like a race track, not that it’s the sites fault, we got used to it.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Quiet site , good pitch size, nice walk to sea, local pub serving food, walk down beach to Mablethorpe or walk on a flat straight path down into town. Carboot every Monday on the path way into town. Alice the owner was brilliant, excellent communication

Disliked Main entrance has barrier but is not fully secure ( no fence) feel like this is needed if you’re on the end pitch as a bit open

Liked Quite Adult only site. not to far to walk to a nice dog friendly beach and around 30min walk into Town.

Disliked Shame the local pub was shut during the week for drinks and food. But went into the Haven site across road to the lovely pub with great food.

Local attractions

The sandy beach a hop and a skip away from Swallow Park Caravan Site will definitely be the main attraction; don’t leave without a meander along the pretty trails in the Saltfleetby/Theddlethrope Dunes nature reserve, where the marshes and dunes are filled with wildflowers, wading birds, butterflies and natterjack toads. Mablethorpe is small, but has plenty to help you while away a day or two: riding the sand train along the beach, for starters, or admiring the doe-eyed beauties at the seal sanctuary, which also has resident badgers, barn owls and kestrels. You can take in the shops and cafés at Spanish City, enjoy fairground rides, amusement arcades and a model railway, or take in the lively events schedule including the Bathing Beauties festival, illuminations, an annual show, and regular motorbike racing on the beach. Drive north to Cleethorpes or south to Skegness for more seaside fun and games.
