Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. The site is considered very good for families, with plenty of activities for children. Although there was a couple of issues we really enjoyed our stay
Electric grass touring caravan or tent pitch
Liked Toilet facilities in our area were great
Entertainment was good
Arcade and facilities such as the shop were great.
Views of the lakes and how well maintained the area we were in was.
Arcade attendant was great with children
Disliked Tent pitches so close to the main road meant that traffic could be heard all night. Wasn't too much of an issue.
The pitch we had was close to a row of trees and bushes which were infested with rats. We would have been happier closer towards the main facilities.
Although it was quiet and not many pitches were in use, anybody camping were put together which resulted in less privacy. We were also pitched next to a group of men that were shouting and drinking in to the night which was a problem for us a family.
Some facilities were great but some could really use some attention to make the site even better. For example the park which is outdated, has too much open space and has things broken and unable to use.
