  • Two miles from the beach at Mablethorpe
  • Golf course, aqua park, bar and restaurant on a 170-acre site
  • Several fishing lakes plus tackle shop
Aaaarrrr! Guests of all sizes will find stacks to do at good-looking and quiet Grange Leisure Park two miles from Mablethorpe, like packing the kids off to scale the heady heights of the adventure playground's pirate ship while the grownups concern themselves with the serious matters of casting or teeing off… Casting off is at the park's six scenic fishing lakes filled with good-sized carp, roach, bream, perch and a few more scaly species (if you haven't brought your gear, the basics are for sale in the site tackle shop). For teeing off, Grange has a nine-hole golf course; day tickets are available at reception where you can also hire clubs. There's also an outdoor aqua park available for guests' use for an extra charge, and a leisure complex with a showbar, bar and restaurant, arcade, café and supermarket. Entertainment and fishing is included in the pitch price. After the fish/golf balls have been tamed and the kids have gone wild in the playground (they'll find a zipwire, swings, slide and quite a bit more there too) guests of all sizes can meet up in the Badgers Barn Pub for a bite and a tipple (possibly not the latter for smaller guests). And then, a stroll to walk it all off? Ambling options are all around: Grange Leisure Park is on 170 acres of farmland and fields, with clear open views, miles of trails and wildlife in abundance. If you're wandering into Mablethorpe, the beach is about a mile away, but if you're feeling full/ lazy, the local bus stops right outside the site.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch

Liked Facilities are good. Pitches well set out. Large site. Well maintained

Disliked The soap in the ladies over the low sink was empty for the three days I was there. There are signs up saying no e-scooters etc but this was ignored and not enforced. The arrivals next to me with the 20 year old Range Rover were very rowdy and played Celine Dion on a loop for hours on the Friday. The site managers should be monitoring stuff like this. They also put their caravan hose and water container on my pitch. The bus stop is right outside, but the buses into mablethorpe are every two hours and stop at 5pm. It’s about 50 mins walk. No WiFi available, despite seeing aerials dotted around.

Electric grass touring caravan or tent pitch

Liked Checking in was easier than I expected as we had changed our stay to camping with electric and this was available. The ladies were very helpful on the desk and very professional and welcoming.
The pitch up was in a great location and clean on arrival. Plenty to do on the campsite and the location was perfect.
Clean showers and toilets.
We shall definitely be coming back .

Disliked Nothing not to like .

Electric grass touring caravan or tent pitch

Liked Everything was as described. Enjoyed the stay, will return

Disliked Wish people would leave showers cleaner. Maybe they could supply something for cleaning up. Some idiot took every bit of toilet paper!
People opposite were told they had to leave as fully booked, they wanted to stay another night. Nobody turned up. There was plenty of pitches. Bit of noisy road behind where we were. Showers turn off so quickly have to keep hitting button. Due to our disabled lad had to use disabled toilet and someone walked in as there isn’t a lock on the inside, would also be good if it was unlocked with a radar key instead of having to wait for a staff member to pass by.

Local attractions

Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea, Ingoldmells, Skegness and other Lincolnshire lovelies are all close by for the coastal connoisseurs; and market towns, villages and the Lincolnshire Wolds easy to get to inland. At Mablethorpe, many visitors wander through the dunes to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary, home of many a brightly-coloured bird, birds of prey, primates, reptiles and roguish-looking meerkats as well as the seals. Kids and big kids will probably also like Mablethorpe's miniature railway, boating lake and funfair; fans of the latter should add in Ingoldmells, home of Fantasy Island theme park. This is also a cracking area for nature: more seals can be seen at the popular Donna Nook National Nature Reserve down the coast between Grainthorpe Haven and Saltfleet, and a huge nature reserve teeming with squawking seabirds is at Gibraltar Point near Skegness. Also nearby, bob about in boats or cast off again at the waters of the Lincolnshire Wolds, alongside many miles of trails and bridleways to walk, cycle or horse ride, or bob around Lincolnshire's market towns: recommended options include Alford, Louth and Lincoln.
