Peaceful, rustic campsite in lovely location close to Lincoln
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious grass pitches, as described facilities are rustic but well thought out. Washing up area with fridge and kettle, large gas powered showers and basic but clean toilets. Lovely peaceful site on working farm.
Disliked Nothing - it’s not at all swish but that is not what is marketed as.

From the manager: Thank you for your review , we are sad that we didn't achieve our usual level of service for you .
We run a small campsite with sustainability at its heart and recycle as much as we are able.
We do have books and games in the Summerhouse for children and during the summer holidays put an activity tent up for children to play in and make use of the toys inside.
We are always approachable as we live nextdoor and if there are issues with facilities we positively encourage campers to let us know.
We know there was an issue with one of the toilets which was left in a bit of a state. We hope that campers do remember that there are other guests and leave facilities how they would like to find them .
We hope you enjoy your camping experiences in future.
Kind Regards Angela and Roy

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Brilliant little site. I picked a night with the worst rain storm for months. Because of that I had the place more or less to myself. Owner was away, but the only other camper ( who's been going for seven years ) took my money. Field is flat with a decent hedge to keep the wind off where I parked. Showers clean, toilet clean. But they would be with no visitors. Easy to find. I'll certainly be going back. If you visit, tell them Steve sent you....
Disliked I don't know what it would be like at the height of the season but I think I would atill like to visit.
