  • Spacious, family-run site in the Lincolnshire countryside
  • A 10-minute drive to Skegness; three miles from the Lincolnshire Wolds
  • Short walk away from a dog-friendly pub; barbecues permitted on site
Let Alan, Jo, their two sons and labrador welcome you into the lovely Lincolnshire countryside… the rural location and the splendid views at The Lazy Buzzards might convince you that you’re tucked firmly away in nature’s big backyard, which is true aside from the fact that the seaside resort of Skegness is only 10 minutes’ drive to the east (that’s a 15-minute pedal for those of you who have brought a pair of wheels along). Families, dogs, couples and any fans of a barbecue will find this family-run site particularly splendid. The nearest dog-friendly pub is only 20 minutes’ walk away and there are many other options for tasty fodder in the pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages, towns and cities, including Burgh le Marsh (half an hour’s walk), Ingoldmells (10 minutes’ drive), Spilsby (15 minutes), Chapel St Leonards (15 minutes), Alford (20 minutes), Horncastle (25 minutes), Louth (half an hour) and Lincoln (an hour). With the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds three miles away, pick up the pace with rambles through the valleys, woodlands or chalk pits, and then return to the spacious four-acre site for some thorough relaxation. The views over the Lincolnshire fields make for some spectacular barbecues, that’s for sure. When it’s time to see Skegness and all of its sights, simply join the A158 nearby. Once there, you might have a hard time deciding on between all the indoor and outdoor attractions, which include the Fantasy Island theme park, bowling alleys, a cinema, fairground, crazy golf and a beach. Perhaps pick up some fish and chips or ice cream and take a parade along the seafront and pier or nose around the shops on the high street too?

Bell tent

Liked: - great location - friendly staff - well kept - small and intimate - quiet - away from the hustle and bustle - bell tent was well equipped - ground was in good condition

Disliked: The lack of a sink in the toilet area, hand sanitiser is not sufficient. A play park would've been a nice touch- not essential though!

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Pitch was flat and spacious , site was neat and tidy well maintained. I liked the hands off approach basically left to own devices, small intimate basic site which I prefer to the larger commercial ones. The location is good.

Liked: Absolutely lovely campsite, owners were so nice and couldn’t do enough for you ☺️ toilets and showers were clean, had a lovely family holiday and will definitely be going back next season 💜 only recommendations would be maybe a kids play area but not essential as plenty to do close by ☺️

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: The location was great, lovely got showers. The pitches were a good size.

Disliked: The toilets smelt really bad the whole weekend (the ones in the middle of the field). Being told to turn music off at 10pm, we understand there are rules but it was on so low not disturbing anyone, our conversations were louder than the music and the children were in bed. The rope on the entrance is absolutely pointless, very annoying when going in and out.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Site was well maintained and toilets clean. Never used the shower so can't comment. The owner welcomed us to the site and gave a clear indication where our pitch was. Overall a nice site

Disliked: Only thing I didn't like was there was no hand basins with the toilet.
