What customers say
This campsite offers excellent facilities for families, with a popular splash pad, playgrounds, and entertainment options. Guests praised the friendly and helpful staff, good quality on-site restaurant, and spacious pitches. However, some visitors experienced issues with toilet and shower cleanliness, lack of amenities like a shop, and concerns about site security and lighting. The splash pad's operation was also weather-dependent. Some noted the campsite is still developing, with potential for improvements to facilities.

Great facilities for short stay with young family.
Non-electric grass touring caravan or tent pitch
Liked Staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. Splash pad and playgrounds were good fun, we spent hours there. We also used driving range and mini golf. Nice amount of other people using the splash pad, made for a good atmosphere.
Restaurant meal good quality, tasty and good value with kids meal offer.
Small campsite to start, but feels underused with only 4 other groups it was quiet when we arrived.
Toilet and shower clean and enough facilities for the amount of pitches.
Disliked 2 of the toilets ran out of soap and toilet roll on our first night, but still other facilities were available.

Non-electric grass touring caravan or tent pitch
Liked Good sized pitch, good value for money, area to wash dishes near to showers and toilets, play park for the children close to the bar, kids eat for £1 with each adult main, friendly atmosphere. Staff were helpful and courteous. Play park although looked imposing, was quite safe for our smaller kids.
Disliked Need more toilets and showers, maybe on the other side of the camping area. Water didn't stay hot in shower, not a secure site (no security checking) whole park was accessible to anyone. Possibly a barrier needed after main car park with passes given to staying guests. Water splash area only turned on when the weather got higher than 20°, so we only had one day where the kids could use it. Could have been useful to have a small shop on site to pick up emergency bits, milk, water etc.

Very dark at night, no security and under staffed
Non-electric grass touring caravan or tent pitch
Liked Great restaurant! Although understaffed during school holidays. Poor young lad that was our waiter im sure was the only waiter in the whole restaurant! Always had a smile on his face but you could see he was super stressed trying to serve everyone.
On our second day again was super busy 2 different waiters/waitress. Restaurant was super busy again staff were rushed off there feet while right in the middle of the restaurant in the walk way 3 managers sat at a table having lunch.. they were working on laptop but if they'd of lofted their heads for more than 10 seconds they would of seen how busy the restaurant was and offered to help even for 15 mins to help the waitress/waiters chase up.
Disliked How dark the field was at night. Would definitely benefit with some lighting. We stayed towards the end of the field and was the only tent pitch at the night. Was very dark at night.
Also no security at all! Anyone can come and go from the site! We has thunder and lightening during our first night around1 am I had to drive my toddlers around to get them back to sleep. I drove on and off the park multiple times between 1am-3am and not once was we stopped or questioned. We did mot see a single staff member.
We would not return due to not feeling safe on site.
Pitch black tent pitches, no security.. really is not a place for families.
