What customers say
This well-maintained campsite boasts modern and extremely clean toilet and shower facilities, with many guests highlighting the excellent quality. Pitches are described as spacious, level, and well-kept. Owners are consistently praised for being friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The site is noted for its peaceful atmosphere and convenient location, a short walk from the beach and local attractions. A popular fishing lake and evening food vans are additional highlights. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a few guests mentioned isolated issues with pitch levelling, dated facilities in some areas, or minor cleanliness concerns around seasonal pitches.

Hosts lovely, a very quiet campsite…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Hosts lovely, a very quiet campsite towards the end of August, the welfare block was very clean and modern, rules about quiet times so no disturbances from other guests at night. WiFi good and strong and reached our tent just fine. My son was sick in the last evening of our stay and it took us a long time to pack up the next morning as we kept having to tend to his frequent bouts of illness, and the hosts were really understanding and didn’t mind the late departure.

On the whole we had a lovely stay and we would go back again.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Location and pitch by lake with lovely views. Owner friendly and helpful.
Disliked Even though we hung a “site occupied” sign on the EHU a fisherman decided it was ok for him to park on our pitch while we were out. Luckily the pitch next door was free (which the fisherman could have easily used instead of ours) so we moved pitches. Showers retained large puddles in drying area, made worse by other users not cleaning floors after use.

We had a lovely stay, the facilities were excellent, definitely return
Electric grass pitch
Liked The facilities were excellent, there was even a bath with a baby change, very spacious for a family. Plug sockets and hairdryers in the toilets too. Very well maintained and very clean, constantly cleaned throughout the day.
The pitch was great, plenty of room and not too cramped. Nice little field down the bottom where we kicked the ball about.
The owners were very helpful and lovely.
Close to Anderby Creek which has a beautiful beach, walking distance or there is parking but get there early as it gets busy.
Disliked Park could be better, but not a downfall as we just found something else for the kids to do instead.
