Liked Great secluded spot within a few minutes drive of A47. Excellent shower, toilet and washing up facilities. Communication was spot on. Even lent is a hook up cable as we had forgotten ours. 10 out of 10.

Liked Absolute 10/10 stay at Fox’s Furrow! The electric grass and gravel motor home pitches are wonderfully spacious, immaculate, and level, making setup completely hassle-free. The site itself is so tranquil and quiet, offering beautiful countryside views while still being easy to access. The facilities are modern, spotlessly clean, and clearly maintained with a lot of care and pride. It provided the ultimate relaxing getaway. I enjoyed every moment so much that I am actually just about to rebook another stay for myself and my young son tonight! Couldn't ask for a better spot.

Liked Peaceful well laid out site in a lovely location. The toilets and showers were good quality, all facilities close to the pitches. Check in was straight forward with relevant information sent direct to ones phone

Liked Pitch was great not sure which one two take no information,found the notice board side of steps going up to toilet later in day , no WiFi this was our first night in our campervan really nice site about 25min walk to local pub good meal

Liked Nice spot, peaceful, really good clean and well equipped well functioning facilities including hook up. Lovely hot shower, washing up sink, clean toilets. A nice little woodland walk around the perimeter, the caravan “shop” with honesty box was a cute feature (that we used) …

Disliked … but not a lot else to do here. Nothing to really dislike. Pitches weren’t the flattest but ramps available to level out your van which we used.

Local attractions

Getting out to see more of your rural surroundings should be easy enough here, as there are some great walks in the vicinity, along with those bike rides on National Cycle Route 63. Rutland Water (20 minutes’ drive) is another good place for a walk or a bike ride (there’s a path that goes all the way round the lake), and you can also play golf, try your hand at sailing or bounce across the inflatable aqua park. If the kids are keen to meet cute animals, head along to Windmill Farm Park (15 minutes) for indoor and outdoor animals, play areas and a café. Bird on the Hand Falconry Experiences (15 minutes) makes a great day out for those keen to get up close to the big birds. Over in Leicester (20 minutes) there are plenty of options for a day out (especially if you need rainy-day activities) – the city is home to the National Space Centre as well as the Retro Computer Museum and King Richard III Visitor Centre.
