What customers say
This quiet, friendly campsite offers basic but well-maintained facilities, including toilets and water taps, with some pods and pitches featuring optional electric hook-up. Reviewers praise the peaceful atmosphere, cute glamping cabins, and the presence of alpacas. A popular pub is within easy walking distance. While some guests noted the lack of showers and Elsan disposal, hosts are reportedly planning improvements.

Lovely relaxing site
Electric optional grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked If you are looking for a nice quiet basic site this is a real find.
Set in a lovely village it is only short walk from a delightful pub. We ate there in the evening and can highly recommend the food.
The site has gated entry so feels safe and the owners were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Many thanks!
Disliked Currently no shower but the owner did say it was something they were considering installing.
As we booked for one night though this was not an issue for us.
No WiFi but phone signal very good.

Liked Amazing host , myself and my husband stayed there for a night it was perfect cute little cabins. we had the fire pit on at night we got the chance to witness the amazing sunset 🌅 toilet and wash facilities are basic but well maintained but everything you need for a little night away we did about a 9 mile walk down the footpaths through the country side. A lovely pub around 10 minutes walk into the village. Nick and Lisa are lovely people we felt welcomed from the minute we arrived. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay we will definitely re visit ❤️
Disliked That there wasn’t any shower facilities but we spoke to nick and Lisa this a newly created site and they are making improvements the shower facilities being one of them ☺️

Liked Nice area, basics covered! Peaceful. It’s also a nice touch to have an area with a microwave and kettle!
Disliked The only thing I had trouble with was that when I arrived the gate was locked (there were campers there). I called both numbers and messaged both and didn’t have a response for a while. When I spoke to the owner he didn’t know about my booking. He spoke to his partner and called me back to apologise and someone came to let me in. The owners were on holiday at the time so mistakes can happen. It was only that I had driven quite a distance and being a solo camper I wasn’t sure what to do. All was well after.

Definitely worth staying here for a peaceful country break.
Electric optional grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Lovely site with friendly, helpful owners and cute alpacas.
Nice pub in the village, just a short walk away.
Disliked Although the toilets functioned well enough and were clean - they could be more attractive, especially as they are close to the lovely wooden hobbit style glamping pods.
