Nice family campsite close to Hertfordshire Zoo
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Great little campsite with friendly staff. Pitch was quite boggy but that was due to the weather conditions.
Toilets and showers were hot and very clean.
Disliked Only downside was the female showers were out of use due to maintenance and only one disabled shower room open at the time of our visit.

Great site, shower & toilet blocks…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Great site, shower & toilet blocks heated, showers fab as they stay on as long as you need and very hot water. Staff friendly always doing maintenance round the site. Free WiFi worked well for all our browsing. Location so good for joining cycles paths and walks along river banks. 20 min walk into Hoddesdon for supermarkets and shops. Bonus fireworks close by at midnight for seeing in the New Year.

Disliked Unfortunately it was poor weather, the site as flooded in parts, and covered in goose poo.

From the manager: Thank you for your review and it’s good to hear our staff and facilities were great. Unfortunately, in exceptionally rainy weather the site can suffer a bit from flooding due to its location next to the river, this location is also popular with the geese too which can lead to some droppings around the site.
