What customers say
This well-maintained, peaceful site offers stunning countryside views and friendly, helpful owners. Guests highlight the farm experience, with children enjoying interactions with animals. Pitches are fully serviced, though some mention the chemical toilet disposal point is a walk and not well-signed. While most found the slopes manageable, roadside signage and narrow access roads were noted. Overall, a highly recommended site for short, relaxing stays.

Small clean site, peaceful place. Water…
Fully-serviced grass touring pitch
Liked Small clean site, peaceful place. Water and electricity at each pitch. Even had the owner give us and the kids the guided tour of the farm where the kids could pet the chickens and cows. There's a stone tractor which the kids loved playing on too, we had the whole campsite to ourself all weekend and it was just so lovely and quiet. Will definitely be returning for future trips!

Liked Unbelievable place very quiet and peaceful very clean and maintained. Full Electric pitch.
We had field to ourselves for 2 nights.
Great welcome from Mervyn the owner who was extremely helpful and friendly. Also the dog millie who came to say hello which kids loved.
Views to die for and stars and sunsets were just incredible. Definitely worth out get up thanks to kids, we looked out side and couldn't miss that opportunity to just sit and look up.
Mervyn spent time with us showing us around and explained the running of his farm kids loved to see the cows and chickens.
We was impressed by the fact there was a built tracker for the kids to play on, also the road to the main road on his bike. And Saturday we had the road surface out on main road which we went for a walk to see kids love things like this. Amazing fish and chip shop in the village and a pub too not far away! Will definitely be back!
Disliked Nothing (apart from coming back I wish I could live there)

A very enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings.
Fully-serviced grass touring pitch
Liked Nice quiet site with a great view from the top pitches. Some great walks from the site down to the historic Dore Abbey or across the lovely Common, down to Ewyas Harold where there is a fantastic pub serving good food - the Temple Bar Inn.
The site owner, Mervyn, went out of his way to make us welcome and showed us around the farm.

Liked The site was really well kept. The farm was also equally as impressive. We loved the views from the site. Simply breathtaking. Location was fab and allowed us to explore parts of the Black Mountains. We were lucky to be given a tour of the farm from Mervyn which was really lovely. We even got to go into the fields and stroke the cows! The site was really quiet. Our boys enjoyed waking up to visit the cows each morning.

Lovely site, great people and countryside to die for
Fully-serviced grass touring pitch
Liked What a lovely, secluded and amazing site. I have camped in so many places, but this has to be one of the best. The owner is a lovely guy who was a pleasure to meet and good laugh too. Some awesome walks on the door step and my dog loved the cows. The local pub was a gem too - will definitely be back. Good luck to Luctonians this season!

Excellent site with gorgeous peaceful views.
Fully-serviced grass touring pitch
Liked Very spacious pitches. Lovely scenery and great that they are fully serviced. The owner came out and was very friendly and gave us some good pub recommendations nearby. Great that the bins and grey waste were really close. No light pollution nearby and we were lucky with the weather so we could go stargazing! We would defo come again.
Disliked The chemical toilet disposal was a bit of a trek and not very well signed. Might not be possible but would be so useful to have the disposal point on site. The roads getting there are very narrow but with passing points so bare that in mind if you have a large unit.

Liked The farmer and his family are very welcoming, the views are fantastic, and the cows in the fields around you are acting quite funny. They follow you like a flock of swans as you walk past them very inquisitive and wanting to get involved in you LOL.
Disliked The pictures are on slopes, which means pitching is quite difficult, needs better roadside signage
