Liked Everything!
The site is fabulous...lots of space and a fantastic park.
The staff are really lovely and really helpful.
The pods are amazing...we stayed in Big Red, but can't wait to try out the others.
Loads of extra touches like a basket of toys, blankets and a bed rail.
We loved the fire pit. Plus the fact that you were supplied with fuel and fire lighters (just remember your marshmellows and skewers).
Hot showers for the pods users aswell...perfect!
Disliked The fact that we hadn't booked a Friday or Saturday evening so didn't get to experience the fire engine disco! (We shall be back for this).

The Big Red Engine on-site touring caravan
Liked Kingfisher Meadow was perfect for a surprise family night away. We stayed in Big Red which the kids loved - especially the basket of toys! Everything was spotless and there were all the kitchen basics we needed. And there was a bed guard which I hadn’t even thought to bring but was needed so thank you. The bathrooms were also very clean which is always a big plus.
Disliked We knew in advance so wasn’t a problem, but having showers in the ablutions would have made it 10+/10.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your great feedback and glad your experience in the fire engine exceeded your expectations..
Apologies you were not informed about the shower block as we do have hot showers in a separate block down by the pond area at the bottom of the field.
We hope to see you soon and please feel free to share your photos on our Facebook page.
Unique experience that made us so many memories as a family.
The Big Red Engine on-site touring caravan
Liked Unique experience that made us so many memories as a family. Our twins LOVE fire engines, so when they arrived and were surprised with a 2 night sleepover in an ACTUAL fire engine, all their dreams came true! A sparkle in their eyes that was pure magic.
The owners were lovely, told us the history of the fire engine which made it even more special, as we stayed in an engine that was named after an ex-service personnel.
Site was clean, tidy, quiet. Other campers were friendly - all the kids played beautifully and really took camping back to basics for kids which was idyllic.
Disliked Nothing.
Hot showers would be a desirable so we could stay longer!

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked What an amazing campsite!
Children get to be children secure area where as parents we didn't need to worry if our daughter was safe, toilets were always clean, tent pitch area was a good size, the owner was lovely and welcoming from the start, beautiful site with quirky accommodation but by far the best bit was the communal campfire with the fire engine disco!
One of the best sites we have ever visited a proper back to basics that gets everyone together. We will definitely be back again next year

Liked A Fantastic Stay at Kingfisher Meadow!
We stayed at Kingfisher Meadow in Herefordshire (conveniently nestled between Leominster and Hereford) just last week, and it was an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.
We camped in a large tent and found the entire site to be spacious, well-kept, and incredibly welcoming. One of the highlights for us was the fire engine disco—such a unique and fun touch that really brought everyone together in the evenings. It created a lively, friendly atmosphere where it was easy to meet and chat with other campers.
The staff were also exceptionally attentive—you could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. Whether it was helping with check-in or offering local tips, they were always approachable and kind.
Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. The vibe was warm, relaxed, and inclusive. We’d absolutely recommend Kingfisher Meadow to anyone looking for a super friendly and memorable camping experience in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside.

From the manager: Lovely to read you all enjoyed your stay with us and you left with good memories, we do try and be a little bit different with the fire and engine and as you saw it's enjoyed by kids big and small
Hope to see you all again in the future as you will always be welcome
Thanks!
100% the best night away we have had in a long time
Molly on-site touring caravan
Liked Absolutely loved our stay at the kingfisher meadow. The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was lovely and yet we still had our own space. The bomb fire with the fire truck was just truly so special. Our 3 year old was able to be a kid and run and play in the park we went for a walk round the lake. She cried when we had to leave.
We've booked again. And we really can't wait to go in September
Woukd recommend this sight to everyone and anyone
