Wye Valley Youth Hostel is set on a 25-acre park on the banks of the River Wye. A great place for activity breaks or school trips, it even has its own canoe landing station.

Located in the heart of the Royal Forest of Dean, close to Symonds Yat Rock, guests can join the on-site course for orienteering and there are miles of footpaths to explore for walking holidays and trails for cyclists of all levels - perfect for cheap family activity breaks.

The campsite is part of the larger YHA site and campers have access to two toilets near the camping field as well as other toilet and shower facilities inside the hostel.

There is a firepit which guests are welcome to use, barbecues are permitted as long as they are raised and dogs are allowed on the campsite.

Campers can also access the fully-stocked self-catering kitchen, lounges and drying room within the hostel. There is also a licenced bar in the hostel, ideal for an evening drink.
