Liked: Absolutely amazing location, great hosts, everything we wanted, hot tub a bonus, the swifts were beautiful, don’t stay or book as we want it selfishly to ourselves
Disliked: Conflicted !! If we says it’s amazing the masses will go, nothing to dislike.

Liked: Excellent stay at the Hen House Hideaway. The accommodation was fantastic, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Would book again and enjoy another relaxing time. The owners made contact in the lead up to arrival with all required info and could be on hand if needed on arrival, but otherwise left you alone to enjoy the stay in peace and quiet. A lovely touch with the welcome basket, including home made cake - yummy! Hot tub, very relaxing and great to have access to. I don't think I pressed all the correct buttons the first night as the jets weren't flowing as well, but cracked it the second night. The view from the accommodation was great, the sky on the first night was so pretty when the sun was settling. One thing to be aware of, you do get dog walkers and horse riders go past the accommodation in the field, the first time took me by suprise, but there wasn't many. The farmer also does work in the field, so just be aware you may see a tractor going up and down. Not a downside, just something to mention for other to be aware. No WiFi, but phone signal was very good so no real concerns there. As a lone female traveller I felt entirely safe at the accommodation and at ease, so would recommend for solo travel as well as couples and family. Will book again! Thank you.

Liked: Fantastic accommodation in a lovely, peaceful location overlooking cornfields and mountains in the distance Perfect for a small family - we were a couple with a 10 year old. The accommodation is well equipped and tastefully decorated and we liked the hen theme! We were provided with a mini hamper including fresh eggs, milk and home made cakes!
