Peace, tranquillity, location, cleanliness of facilities, the stars at night due to the darkness, chickens! Tim and Veronique were fantastic hosts, always there to help with any questions.

    Disliked:

Composting toilet design meant little boys couldn't get near enough so unfortunately wee'd on the seat a lot. However all other facilities very clean just quite a walk away from the pitch site.

    Super friendly hosts
Excellent facilities - 3 toilets, 2 showers, kitchen room (including fridge, freezer, toaster, dining table and washing up facilities)
    Lovely chickens strolling about
Nice gardens to wander around in
Can hire fire pit & logs
Can buy homemade produce (jams etc)
    Exceptional value
Veronique allowed me to play on her djembe drums!
Can buy teas, coffees and homemade cake & enjoy either in the house (which is open during the daytime) or in the garden.
Wonderful view (to get full benefit you have to pitch on the slope at the top of the field but I didn't find it too bad at all)

    Disliked:

A bit of a stroll to the toilets (but only if I'm being really picky!)

Lovely site with friendly staff and excellent facilities. We loved our bell tent which was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Having access to a kitchen with fridge, toaster etc was very handy for us as we could store our milk and BBQ food for the evening/morning.

the bell tent was really comfortable and cosy. The fact that wood and fire pit were included made it all the better. Tim was lovely and did a good job of showing us around and guiding us to a walk to hay on Wye the next day. It was a brilliant weekend away. Proper glamping!

Really liked walkers cottage definitely 5*

when we arrived to the walkers cottage we were greated by Veronique and Tim who were very friendly and welcoming and was shown around by Tim.
The campsite was lovely great facilities, clean and lovely views of the wye valley. Really enjoyed having visits in the evening by the on site resident chickens.
Will definitely be coming back for another visit as I would like to stay longer next time.

    Disliked:

Didn't have any dislikes great place to stay.
The only thing that would be really nice to add to the wash room is a babychanging table.
