What customers say
This campsite offers spacious, level pitches and a welcoming atmosphere, praised for its excellent on-site pub with superb food. New shower and toilet facilities are a significant highlight, described as modern and top-notch. While most guests had a highly positive experience, a recurring minor point for improvement relates to the older washing-up area and occasional issues with toilet cleanliness and availability during peak times. The site's proximity to local towns is also noted.

We would stay here again without hesitation.
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Warm welcome, clear site map & info. Spotless modern toilet/shower block suitable for families. Value for money. Secure. It was the right combination of price to value. Unfortunately didn’t get to eat/drink in the pub which appears very well looked after.
Disliked Really not picking here: It was the hottest day of the year so far and the bins were full which meant a few flies around them and there was occasionally a whiff of the waste tanks but this may have been a one off after a busy weekend and some possible works going on which didn’t affect us.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked We have a camper van and awning. Lovely flat pitches with electric if you need it (which we didn’t).
Water available right by the pitch.
Fab new unisex toilet and shower blocks.
Allowed to use my fire pit.
Washing up facilities available.
We used the pub for Sunday carvery which was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Nothing too much trouble.
Disliked Quite near a busy road so did experience some traffic noise but I only notice it more as we live in a very quiet village.
