High class campsite.
Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Everything good, and reasonably priced for pitch with hookup.
Very convenient for cycle trails in the Forest.
Disliked Only improvement I can think of: a few more hooks in the wash facilities would be welcome.

You make our family happy and we will be back!
The Mead electric gravel and hardstanding campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Staff are ALL friendly and helpful and always with a smile. I like how clean the place is and that you don't need to prompt anyone that there is a toilet paper missing or something is broken as everything is constantly monitored and cleaned and well maintained. This is our favorite campsite a when we bring someone new with us to camp, they all agree that this is the campsite they would absolutely visit again. The wooden animals around the front are adorable and kid s wants to have their pictures taken with those. The swimming pool is an amazing asset for the kids and we love it. The life guards are friendly and kind.
Disliked There is anything we dislike. Just a tiny note that another toilet near the Mead end would be a bonus.

The Mead electric gravel and hardstanding campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Myself and my husband don't usually stay on big campsites but I have to say we really enjoyed this site. It was in a perfect location for The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, immaculately tendered and the facilities were great. To be able to use the Swimming pool, Sauna and Steam room after a days walking for free was excellent value for money for what we paid for a 3 night campervan pitch. The restaurant food was relatively basic pub grub but was convenient and tasty with good service.
Disliked My only gripe was the service received in the venue area of a evening, the staff were often talking in clusters rather than paying attention to customers and when you did get served you felt a bit of an inconvenience with a can't be bothered attitude and not particularly friendly or enthusiastic. Just a observation made not only by me and my husband but other campers too Otherwise I would have given a 10 star review. However, we would definitely stay again.

The Mead electric gravel and hardstanding campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Facilities, food was lovely, pool was perfect for the kids and their surrounding walks was beautiful in the sunshine.
Disliked Distance from electrical point was excessive and requires the last 2 end plots to have there own point. Grounds was good enough to lend us an extension. Yes it says 25m but I was closer to requiring 30m.

Absolutely fantastic place to go and we will be going back!
Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked How well set up for young families it is, you can eat while seeing your little ones run around in the park safely, allowing the adults to have some relaxing time.
The facilities where all close and well thought out and also modern.
The kids loved the evening entertainment and again actually allowed the adults to relax a little while they played/danced safely.
The pool was fantastic too something for everyone!
Disliked No dislikes at all!
