- Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- Single-sex bookings of 6 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- A cable measuring at least 15 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Units longer than 10 metres are not allowed.
- Minimum spacing of 2 metres between pitches.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- Swimming in the lake is not allowed.
- There is no reception on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
- Bookings for tent must not be for more than 7 consecutive nights.
- The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
- Due to open water, farm machinery and out of bounds areas on site, children must be supervised at all times. 10kWh of electricity per night is included: any usage beyond this is metered on site at £0.60 per kWh and can be purchased onsite via the helpline. The Guest Helpline is only intended to support visitors during their stay and is manned between 7am and 7pm (except in an emergency or by prior arrangement).

Liked: Beautiful, peaceful area. Clean and friendly. The dog areas are of a good size and easy to get to. 15 minutes and you can get go ape and all their trails and the same to puzzlewood.
Disliked: Not a thing.

Liked: Very - almost too - generous pitch; could have got at least another couple of tents on there, thank you. Wonderful surroundings and the main road was far enough away to dull the noise of the occasional "boy motorbike racer". Everything was beautifully maintained and the showers were - again almost too - hot. All in all a great site and relatively inexpensive. Having camped quite widely across Europe, it compared with the best.

Liked: Great site & truly the best facilities ever. The showers & loos were the cleanest & nicest of many we’ve seen or used, the pitch was even, nice site location & we loved that the site is dog orientated even if we had to leave our pooch home this time.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Beautiful location, lots of open space & very relaxed.
Really like the dog walking areas and the dog friendly lake, needless to say our dog had the best weekend

Liked: Lovely clean well kept site nice and peacefully 2 good dog areas very nice toilets and showers even has a dog cleaning area and a nice little fishing lake.
Disliked: Nothing much to dislike could have a little park or play area for kids

Liked: Dog areas, dog pond and overall facilities and the area was beautiful.we absolutely loved our stay and was exactly what we needed..... Some quiet time. It's definitely more suited to adults which is why we chose it. We have 3 boys and wanted an adult friendly place as we didn't have ours. Very peaceful and not much for the kids to have done so probably not somewhere where we would stay with them but it was perfect for what we wanted.
Disliked: We disliked pretty much nothing, it was almost perfect. Our only slight comment is that the facilities perhaps could be checked a bit more over the weekend. Ladies toilet ran out of hand drying paper (along with one of the toilets with no paper) sat pm and still the same when we left on Sunday pm. Really loved the site though and have booked to come again already and have recommended it to family and friends.
