Public footpaths a short walk away and a fellow camper said they walked to a very friendly local pub that welcomes dogs.

Liked Great location. Jess checked with me before I turned up that everything was alright. Went in January. Very quiet, very safe.
Disliked Not really disliked, but the facilities weren’t open and therefore it changes things. But it was advertised and I was reminded before setting off.

Lovely spot near Wye Valley and Forest of Dean
Winter electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (seasonal)
Liked Really liked the beautiful view across the valley. The facilities were easy to use. We visited after the washrooms etc were closed for the year but on hook up it was peaceful. Communication with the owner was clear from her end. I just failed to pick it up. We will be visiting again next year. Cant comment on washroom facilities. Value for money for a winter pitch
Disliked Sat Nav took us up a very dark, narrow lane (Driffield Lane). Not the campsites fault.
