Liked Lovely, quiet little camp site. Very peaceful and the surrounding walks are just amazing.
The site is spotlessly clean and very well cared for. Gates for that added security.
The owner was lovely, helpful, on site and always happy to answer any questions. A small shop. So tour every day needs.
The site is sat on a huge field. So accessible dog area.
Would happily recommend and thank you for a wonderful stay.
Disliked From a personal perspective I would like a shower that stays in rather than a button press in all the time...
I understand the charge to use the hairdryer as costs are so high.... however, I personally don't carry change anymore. It might be worth adding this to your bio so people are aware and can bring the correct money or a view to removing it maybe?
The above s no reflection on the site because as I have said it was just amazing. The above are just my opinions that's all and certainly wouldn't stop me staying again.

An ideal site.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked A lovely site in tip-top condition, including all the facilities. Well spaced and spacious pitches. A very friendly and helpful reception from Jess. I stayed on pitch 21 (grass, no hookup) and had no neighbours at all - apart from a carpet of buttercups. The view from the pitches is over the valley facing West, giving the best view of sunset. Handy for the Dean Forest Railway (my reason for visiting)
Disliked I can not think of anything.

Liked A truly lovely spot- a small campsite with well spaced pitches. We appreciated the large meadow play area which was enjoyed by the dog! Fire pit kept us warm for several hours- a lovely addition and good value. Very friendly owner and tranquil location.
