What customers say
This is a small, peaceful campsite on a working farm, ideal for walking and exploring the River Severn. Pitches are generally spacious and private, with nearby amenities including a pub and a cafe. While many guests praise the location and tranquil atmosphere, some reviews mention issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the toilet and shower facilities, as well as intermittent water pressure. The presence of farm animals and associated rural smells are noted.

Blissfully peaceful, walks a plenty and a cafe
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Utterly tranquil surrounded by organic pasture land... Cafe within a couple of minutes walk too...
Blissful
Disliked The smoked bacon on the breakfast menu with no alternative available.... The lunch menu is a burger with smoked cheese 🤮..... It's a tiny but unavoidable grumble as I loath smoked foods... It's an easy fix though...

Lovely Campsite, beautiful walks. We will be back…
Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Check-in is really easy and straightforward. You simply arrive and go to the pitch you’ve booked, then text the number displayed on the sign as you enter. You’ll receive a response with all the important information you need about the site, as well as some really helpful information about the local area.
This was our second stay here, although our first visit was a good few years ago, so it was lovely to come back and see how things have changed. The pitches are a really good size with plenty of room.
It is a campsite on a working farm, so our expectations are in keeping with that, but it has everything you need – toilets, showers, a washing-up area, recycling and general waste facilities, and water points.
The surrounding area is lovely too. Arlingham has a local pub just up the road, and we enjoyed a couple of walks in the local area, so there’s plenty to do without having to travel far.
A brilliant addition since our last visit is The Farmers Yard. It’s an absolutely beautiful barn conversion, open Friday to Sunday from 8:30am–4pm, serving great coffee and other hot and cold drinks, cakes and food. We enjoyed breakfast there both mornings of our stay and it was such a lovely added bonus to have right on site.
We noticed a couple of previous reviews mentioning noise from farm machinery, farm smells and flies. For us, this is simply part of staying on a working farm and exactly what we would expect when booking this type of campsite. Yes, you may hear machinery, notice the occasional farm smell and have a few flies around, but none of this affected our stay or how much we enjoyed it.
Overall, a really easy, relaxed campsite in a lovely location, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We really enjoyed coming back and would happily stay again.
Disliked There wasn’t really anything that negatively impacted our stay. We’re camping, so we don’t arrive expecting five-star hotel facilities!
If we were to suggest one area for improvement, it would probably be some modernisation of the toilet and shower facilities. We had seen other reviews commenting on their cleanliness, and we actually witnessed them being cleaned on the Saturday evening, so they are clearly attended to. However, we would agree that they are starting to show their age, and the general wear and tear can perhaps make them feel less clean than they actually are.
Some updating and modernisation of the facilities would definitely enhance the site, but this didn’t affect our enjoyment of the stay and wouldn’t put us off returning.

Liked Lovely site with great walks, views & a great cafe run by the site owners.
Nice village pub with great food.
Disliked Toilet block needs some TLC, bins need better labelling (ie.general rubbish, plastic, cardboard etc.) & more of them as both times we have visited on a bank holiday there has been bags on the ground next to them as they were full.
