This is a well-maintained, clean, and peaceful campsite with friendly and helpful staff. Pitches are generally spacious and offer privacy, many with riverside locations. Facilities, particularly the individual bathrooms, are consistently praised for their cleanliness and quality. The adjacent pub is a popular bonus, offering good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Easy access from the M5 makes it ideal for stopovers, though some mention road noise. The site is well-equipped for families, with a play area noted as a highlight.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, I just want to confirm the porter loos are temporary due to no water on site last week, there are 2 toilets further down where the grey waste and elsan point is which are fully functioning (in the middle of the site)

Clean and well kept with good facilities. Friendly service both on the campsite and in the adjoining pub.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked Everything, lovely little site, staff greeted us with a smile. Pitch was so nice, partly shaded next to river it was quiet and private. Walked to pub for a meal, 2 mins as in grounds, they had a singer outside, lovely meal. We had Carvery and a chicken salad. Dog was welcome. Plenty of space and seating outside with umbrellas. Toilets and showers were clean and spacious. Overall a really nice site. Would definitely come back
Disliked Nothing, not a sausage, it was all great

Great site, handy to the M5 ,pub is lovely genuine old coaching inn
Electric grass pitch
Liked Love the good sized pitch with all the privacy hedges . Good toilet block , just a bit warm in this hot weather , the extra toilet block was very handy . Loved the pub, don’t believe some of the reviews the food was excellent and the staff were brilliant . The warden was very accommodating, we arrived a lot earlier than expected but she was great .
Disliked Need to think about fully served pitches , with individual water and drainage to suit modern vans (I know that’s a lot of cost but it’s the way vans are developing)
