What customers say

This is an exceptionally clean and well-maintained campsite with modern, spotless toilet and shower facilities. Visitors consistently praise the warm, friendly, and helpful owners. The site is secure with gated access and offers spacious, level pitches. It's conveniently located for stopovers near the M5 and exploring local areas, though some mention slight traffic noise. A highly recommended site for a comfortable and secure stay.

Liked Warm welcome, modern clean facilities, good hard standing pitch size

Disliked Because of its great access to and from the motorway there is noise from that, as the entrance is closed until you phone on arrival it could be an issue to get off the 50 mile road to the site

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked Beautiful campsite on a tidy working farm. This site had the most spotless toilet/shower block.
Only 6 Mike's outside Gloucester city centre with a bus stop not far from the entrance.
Opportunity to purchase free range eggs from the owners.

Just off the M5 names it a great stopover when travelling from the north to Cornwall.

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked This site was a fantastic stopover for one night as we continued the next day on our trip to Staffordshire from Cornwall. Sam warmly greeted us and took us to our excellent level grass pitch. The site was exceptionally clean and the toilet and shower block was the cleanest and most modern one we have seen in all our travels. The site is secured by a large gate with keypad access so no one can access the site one of the most secure sites we have stayed on. The chickens wandering around and fresh eggs was a nice feature. We would recommend this site to everyone

Disliked no dislikes the site was a hidden gem

Local attractions

Keen to experience a bit more of that farming life? Take the kids to Cattle Country Farm Park (15 minutes’ drive) for hands-on activities with the lambs, goats, pigs and rabbits plus all sorts of other fun things including miniature golf, a splash pool, a maize maze and a couple of play barns. Meanwhile, if you prefer open spaces and wildlife, head to WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre (15 minutes) to see what kind of birds you can spot. Around these parts are also several smart rural estates – if you’ve got an eye for a fancy historic house, aim for 12th-century Berkeley Castle or the 19th-century Gothic splendour of Woodchester Mansion (both 20 minutes). Green-fingered guests may instead prefer a wander along the paths of Painswick Rococo Garden (20 minutes). Gloucester (15 minutes) and Cheltenham (20 minutes) are both worth a visit while you’re in the area – and in between the two is the Jet Age Museum (20 minutes), with a fab collection of vintage planes and other aviation memorabilia.
