The on-site pub receives positive mentions for its food and atmosphere. Proximity to the M5 motorway means some road noise is present, though many guests found it minimal. Very nice campsite, facilities excellent, well located for Slimbridge
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Big well sheltered pitches, we were there in the winter so no leaves on the hedges but I can imagine in the summer they are very private pitches. Lovely hot water!! Including the washing up area!! Very handy pub next door, but check the opening times

Easily accessible site, with a rural feel.
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the pepper pot caravan site, the site is clean secure, and has water and 16 amp hook up on your pitch, and the pitch itself was a good size, that we found ours to be fairly level.
The shower was clean, hot and had ample room (maybe could do with a stool)and the two toilets were well kept
Ok you have a railway line and the M5 is either side of the site, but we didn't find this to be a problem.
The pepper pot onsite pub serves excellent homemade food at decent prices, and good choice of beers, also it was the feel of a cosy country pub, with cheerful staff.
A great choice to spend our new year's eve.

Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Very large pitches, easy access, clean showers, pleasant staff.
Disliked I'm not usually a light sleeper, but I did wake up early due to the traffic noise nearby. It wouldn't stop me staying again though, if I was in the area.
