What customers say
This is a very clean, friendly and well-maintained site with large, level pitches. The facilities, including showers and toilets, are consistently praised for their cleanliness. A significant highlight is the attached pub, The Pepper Pot, offering good food and drinks at reasonable prices, often with special offers. The site is conveniently located near the M5, making it an ideal stopover, though some guests note traffic noise from the motorway and nearby railway line, which generally does not detract from the stay. The helpful and welcoming staff, particularly site manager Nikki, are frequently mentioned. The site is dog-friendly with nearby walking routes.

Disliked The welcoming wasn’t too friendly.
The pub staff were inconvenienced having to serve with over priced warm drinks when they eventually came behind the bar to serve.

Fantastic campsite and cafe!
Electric grass tent pitch (XL)
Liked Spacious flat camping pitch with enough room for our two tents! Really clean facilities. Noise from motorway was not really noticeable for us and felt really peaceful. Pepper Pot Pub Cafe was great for breakfast and coffees. We could even take coffee back to drink at our tent.
Disliked For some reason did not have lids for takeaway coffee which did make transport back to the campsite more tricky!
