Electric grass pitch
Liked What a great campsite. Staff so friendly and helpful. Great showers. I loved that you can just walk your dog straight into the forest off lead and on to Symonds Yat for a big trek. Beautiful sunset views. Will definitely be back. Thank you Bracelands for making my first solo trip so relaxing 😎

Electric grass pitch
Liked It was an extremely clean site, toilets and showers were immaculate couldn’t fault them. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location also.
Disliked It could have done with a play park for the children but other than that it was an excellent stay. The WiFi wasn’t that great but it was the World Cup so I’m guessing everyone was trying to get on it.

Will 100% be booking again. Had a lovely time.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely well maintained site with friendly staff. Staff let us choose a pitch more in the shade and one that was a bit flatter. Facilities clean and tidy, plenty of them so didn’t ever need to queue for a shower. Can walk straight from the campsite into the forest and a nice trail down to river wye. Convenient little shop for basics and ice creams which was important when camping in 30 degree heat. We didn’t bring the dog because it was hot but saw lots of dogs on site and it looked very dog friendly.
Disliked Phone reception is also not great so bear this in mind if this is something important to you. However, this is also a strength as it gives an opportunity to be present and get away from technology for a while.

Great location but the gradient of the camping fields is a no.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Location. Situated right at the edge of the Forest of Dean with some fantastic walks. Despite the site being very large and full it was really quiet at night.
Disliked The camping fields were on steep slopes making it difficult to pitch a tent, uncomfortable to sleep and relax.

Electric grass pitch
Liked The facilities were great, the pitches are decently sized, and spaced out appropriately. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.
Disliked My only suggestion would be that there in the showers, it would be useful if there could be some sort of shelf next to the actual shower, for shampoo / shower gel
