What customers say

This well-maintained site offers spacious, level pitches with excellent, immaculately clean facilities, including heated showers. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds, with convenient access to Cirencester. While some guests noted traffic noise from a nearby road, it was generally not intrusive. Issues with WiFi signal strength and occasional minor facility maintenance have been mentioned.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Close location to Cirencester
Great coffee shop 5-10 minute walk from park called Fire and Flow, wonderful breakfast and good coffee.
Lovely staff and shower and toilet block spotless

Disliked Road noise, a little too close to main roads, quite a few sloping pitches

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked The site was clean and appears to be well maintained. The facilities, toilets, showers, sinks, washing up and waste were all tidy and clean. There is a family room for showering and good toilet facilities for people with a disability.
The pitch that I had was level, dry and easy to park on. The electric and water were close by.
There is barrier access to the site that is lifted by entering a code.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving directions and travel details for the local bus service.
I would recommend this site.
There is a pub about 1.5 miles, which can be reached by back roads if you are walking although there is a pull up a pretty long hill before descending back down to the village pub, or you could drive it in 2 minutes. The food was reasonable and the staff at the pub friendly.

Disliked This site does not have WiFi throughout the site, should you wish to use WiFi direct you have to go to a gazebo close to the reception and the strength of the WiFi is intermittent.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked The pitch was reasonably sized, slopping but we were expecting that. Well placed for Cirencester and for us the continuing journey south west. The best thing was how clean the toilets and showers were. I dont think that it was because it was christmas and the site was almost empty. They just seemed exceptionally clean. Everywhere. No cobwebs high up, no bits in the corners. Very impressed and would stay again. It would be interesting to see how different it was in the summer with plenty of people.

Local attractions

With Cheltenham racecourse a mere 30 minutes’ drive away, this site is a prime pick for horsey types – but if the gee-gees don’t have the family galloping for joy, there are other four-legged, fleet and feathered options at the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, also half an hour from base. If the Cotswold Gardens grow enthusiasm for stately houses and grand designs, there’s plenty else hereabouts to entice: Chavenage House, Berkeley Castle, Bowood House, Sudeley Castle, Newark Park and Dyrham Park are all within an hour for old piles, and Westonbirt Arboretum and the gardens at Highgrove (Charlie and Camilla’s royal digs) are definitely worth a turn half an hour away. For more urban explores, start 15 minutes from the site in the scenic village of Bibury to have a poke around the Chedworth Roman Villa, travel on to Bourton-on-the-Water (20 minutes) for Birdland, a maze, a motoring museum and a model village, then take things up a notch in Cirencester, where there are Roman remains, museums, markets, parks and a manor house all waiting for visitors. Keep things soothingly low-key with a spin on the Swindon and Cricklade steam railway, 25 minutes away, or get a bit more active with watersports, paintball, fishing and horse riding at Cotswold Water Park or an adrenaline-fuelled day at the Gloucestershire Rally School, both within 20 minutes.
