Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked A lovely little site with excellent facilities, all clean and spotless. We didn't have any issues whilst we were there, however, it is worth noting that the current toilet block is down a hill for those people that might have an issue with the walk down/up. (There are plans to build a block towards the top of the site). This wouldn't stop us visiting again, next time we are down in the Cotswolds. Thank you Mayfield Park.

Disliked Nothing.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked The facilities are clean and adequate
The site is well looked after and walking maps available in reception set you off on a hike to cirencester about an hour of walk mostly across fields and tracks.A bus stop outside if you wish to return by bus.

Disliked Push button showers and taps , There must be another way.
Fire pits , I always thought hey that's a great idea but some idiot turned up and lit his version of one on Friday evening smoked out our pitch where I was trying to relax( you can't ban idiots they come in all forms) so review fire pit policy. It should not interfere with other people.

Liked Toilets were a little dated but very clean and cleaned regularly each day, Showers were nice although could be a touch warmer. We were in the top field so was a walk to the shower block, however were warned on check in and also informed that they had planning in for a new toilet block in the top field. There was a bit of road noise from the duel carriage way but nothing that affected the weekend. Great location to explore the Cotswolds, however you will need a car, we will return in the future.

What customers say

This well-maintained site offers friendly staff, clean facilities, and a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Visitors appreciate the spacious pitches and amenities like the dog exercise areas. However, several reviews mention significant road noise due to its proximity to a main road. Some guests also found pitches to be sloped, and Wi-Fi can be unreliable away from reception.

Non-electric grass pitch (sloping)

Liked God sized flat pitch & open space.

Disliked The walk to the shower block/ablutions. Long way down and back to the pitch. WiFi only available at the reception area. No shop selling the basics.

Liked Friendly helpful owner. Location ideal for exploring this lovely part of England with quaint villages, beautiful countryside and loads of history. Nice pitch for our campervan with hedges for privacy.

Local attractions

With Cheltenham racecourse a mere 30 minutes’ drive away, this site is a prime pick for horsey types – but if the gee-gees don’t have the family galloping for joy, there are other four-legged, fleet and feathered options at the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, also half an hour from base. If the Cotswold Gardens grow enthusiasm for stately houses and grand designs, there’s plenty else hereabouts to entice: Chavenage House, Berkeley Castle, Bowood House, Sudeley Castle, Newark Park and Dyrham Park are all within an hour for old piles, and Westonbirt Arboretum and the gardens at Highgrove (Charlie and Camilla’s royal digs) are definitely worth a turn half an hour away. For more urban explores, start 15 minutes from the site in the scenic village of Bibury to have a poke around the Chedworth Roman Villa, travel on to Bourton-on-the-Water (20 minutes) for Birdland, a maze, a motoring museum and a model village, then take things up a notch in Cirencester, where there are Roman remains, museums, markets, parks and a manor house all waiting for visitors. Keep things soothingly low-key with a spin on the Swindon and Cricklade steam railway, 25 minutes away, or get a bit more active with watersports, paintball, fishing and horse riding at Cotswold Water Park or an adrenaline-fuelled day at the Gloucestershire Rally School, both within 20 minutes.
