Liked Lovely location and warm greeting from owners.
Back to basics camping with plenty of space for our boys to play.
Clean facilities.
Disliked Nothing
No thrills just good old fashioned camping
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great site, toilet block ( cleaned daily and had hand sanitiser, toilet paper there for you to use if you didn’t have your own.)
Sheila was really friendly too which is always nice to be greeted with a smile, we would definitely recommend to friends and will be returning to do the cycle trail which is just down the road from the pitch up. Great hiking area and lots of close by villages and towns to explore for those not wishing to hike like we did.
Disliked Nothing to dislike, what you see is what you get. No false advertising here!

Liked Excellent no frills campsite with clean toilets and clean water tap
Very good value for money
Lovely people on the campsite - the kids made lovely friends for the weekend and everyone was respectful and really friendly.
Excellent location, a 5 minute cycle to Parsley Hay station on the Tissington and High Peak trails
Beautiful and quiet location in the heart of the Peaks
No Wifi - which was a plus for us to get away from life!
Disliked Nothing disliked, sometime I do find it useful to have a washing up area though, but it was fine for the two nights we were there.

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Does what it says in the tin! A back to basics campsite, perfect to use as a base for a weekend of adventures. Level pitches in a clean couple of fields, 1 small toilet block that was perfectly adequate! You'll need a head torch as the campsite is completely unlit which is brilliant! Simple done well- we will be back again!
