contactless check in suited us brilliantly…
St John's 1 bedroom cabin
Liked contactless check in suited us brilliantly as we enjoyed a day out and didn't feel any pressure to arrive before reception closed. spotless, and I am very funny about cleanliness. all areas were lovely and clean, modern and looked after. only 6 pods and its gated off so the kids had freedom to roam, going car free gives you peace of mind. bed was comfy, quilts lovely and warm although the radiators did heat the room perfectly also. no complaints from the kids over the sofa bed. very spacious pods, we have stayed in pods that have their own bathrooms and they have always been lacking in space but these were perfect. close to the chippy, newsagents & bakery. really peaceful setting & loved our short stay. lovely that you raise money for charity also. lots of history in the area, great base travelling to these places. we really loved our stay, thank you.
Disliked unable to connect to WiFi. only really needed when asking kids to wind down in wet weather, but it would not be a deal breaker and wouldn't stop us visiting again.

Great intimate site with everything you could nee.
St John's 1 bedroom cabin
Liked The cabin was spotless, welcome note and flowers to greet us along with a small carton of milk in the fridge for a very welcome cuppa. towels provided as well so less to carry from the car. everything that we needed was to hand and the layout well thought out so that the table could be put down and chairs stored away for more room to have the grandchildren visit our pod. the gravel paths to the cabin were well maintained and lit. As well as lovely fairy lights on the outside of the cabin which the grandchildren loved too. An area of grass between the 6 cabins meant that the children could play close by so we could keep a watchful eye on them along with a small field at the bottom for us all to join in with some games.

Many appreciated the thoughtful touches like welcome items and ample supplies. While some minor issues were raised, such as the wish for campfires or more storage, and occasional WiFi connectivity problems, the overall sentiment was overwhelmingly positive, with many indicating a strong desire to return.

St Florence's 1 bedroom cabin
Liked Spacious and well equipped pods. Comfy beds, very clean and great location.
Disliked Would have liked to be able to have a camp fire and outside seating would be useful. WiFi wasn't working but was informed of this before we went.

A wonderful retreat
St Martins 1 bedroom cabin
Liked The location is close enough to good things to do, but a good countryside feel. Lovely cabin, really warm (we visited in the winter) and well equipped, had everything we needed. Good condition, comfortable beds and very spacious for a glamping style cabin.
