What customers say

Guests consistently praise the cleanliness, comfort, and excellent amenities within the spacious pods and cabins, highlighting thoughtful touches like welcome packs and fresh flowers. The beautiful location, close to the Peak District, is frequently mentioned, along with helpful hosts. Parking is easy, and essential facilities are readily available. While the majority of stays were faultless, a few minor suggestions included the need for a latch on doors and additional storage.

St Teresa's 1 bedroom cabin (no pets)

Liked Clean comfortable living area with great comfort and nice pillows. Fridge has small freezer compartment. Shops a small drive away. Great accommodation for great value. Would definitely return.

Disliked Another contact free holiday! I do miss meeting the hosts but it's the norm now sad to say. Also, email them as they don't answer phone but alas not a shock these days. Still great stay!

Local attractions

Young kids with you? Off you go to Gulliver’s Kingdom (15 minutes’ drive) for a day of riding on log flumes, following dinosaur trails and riding chairlifts high above the Derwent Valley. Older offspring will likely also appreciate the cable-car ride up to the Heights of Abraham (also 15 minutes) for illuminated walks through subterranean caverns and woodland hikes. The pretty town of Matlock Bath (15 minutes) stands by the River Derwent and pulls in the crowds for its indie shops, arcade games at Derwent Amusement Centre, and Matlock Bath Aquarium and Exhibitions, an eccentric Victorian-era museum with a hall of mirrors, displays of fossils and live carp swimming in thermal pools. If you’re keen to strike out on two feet, climb up to the Black Rocks craggy outcrop (15 minutes) for views over Cromford Moor, and set off on the Monsal Trail along a former railway line from Bakewell (half an hour). Energetic souls can walk sections of the spectacular High Peak Trail, accessed from High Peak Junction (15 minutes) and leading through the Derbyshire Dales.
