What customers say
This working farm campsite offers an exceptional location for walkers, situated at the foot of Mam Tor with direct access to numerous trails and Winnats Pass. Guests praised the stunning views, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. Basic but clean facilities include toilets, hot coin-operated showers, and a washing-up area. On-site food vans at weekends were a popular addition. While some found the site basic, its value for money and proximity to the Peaks were highly regarded. Limited facilities and occasional noise from fellow campers were noted but did not detract from many guests' positive experiences.

Exactly what I wanted, a no fuss field to pitch up a tent
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Open, laid back, fuss free. Straight on some great walking routes
Disliked The only thing to note was the entry - I drove straight past the gate. There is a small A4 sign on there that says to follow it. The sat nav took me to the exact right place - I think I was just expecting that to be wrong so ignored it.

It provided what was advertised.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Pitch was alright for me as I managed to reverse up against the hedge and wall providing excellent protection. Friendly working farm with animals, pets and livestock. I've stopped there twice to access the walks around Edale and Castleton.
