What customers say
This is a relatively new campsite with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests frequently praise the friendly owners, clean facilities, and convenient amenities like a kettle and fridge. The steep access road is a notable feature. Some initial issues with toilet block cleanliness and water supply have been addressed, with ongoing improvements noted. The site's appeal lies in its tranquil setting and basic, well-maintained facilities.

If you’re after a peaceful break…
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked If you’re after a peaceful break and just want to get away from the stresses and strains of life, with a basic, but clean site this is for you. Walks a plenty from the doorstep, beautiful views, you really couldn’t ask for anything more.
Disliked Nothing

Great views but facilities are really lacking
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The views are absolutely incredible and its lovely to have such a large pitch size.
The owner was very responsive to messages which was reassuring.
Disliked There was a "meatfest" event on when we went which had over 100 family members canping in the field which put a huge strain on the toilets & showers. There was only 2 toilets available but even provision of 2 additional portaloos wasnt enough to meet the needs of the people staying.
The 2 showers were very difficult to access due to the number of people trying to use them and really disappointing when you did manage to get one as the water pressure was so low and freezing cold.
